Yeah and they immediately sacked the manager who was responsible for the defeat while we keep the manager who got a bigger trouncing of 0-5 to our biggest rivals.
I can't in all honesty say Liverpool are our biggest rivals now. More like Spurs and West Ham?
Nuno wasn’t the manager they wanted, at any stage though. Moment he took the job it was never going to end well with him being 7/8th choice. Conte has either let it be known that he’s willing to adjust to whatever terms we’re offered to him in the summer, or Levy has accepted to give Conte what he wants.

If he can get Kane to turn up, then Spurs might have a chance.

As for Ole, Spurs match was an obvious improvement, whether it’ll last is a completely different question (probably not, but I like to go into games thinking we can win them, rather than the growing hope we lose attitude).

I think Ole leaves at end of season, unless we’re down in 10th kind of region in December.

It used to be "It's Tottenham lads..."

Now it's "We fecking beat Tottenham Hotspurs Lads!!!!; start the celebrations!!"

Who's celebrating? I haven't seen anyone pro Ole claim that one game has changed their opinion, that the Spurs result has steadied the ship or anything to that effect.

Literally nobody is celebrating. The most optimistic I've seen is people saying we should get out of the CL group and hopefully go on a bit of a run.

I'm being a bit sarcastic, but i'm referring to the champagne meeting after the spurs game by the club (not the fans).

I was referring to the person who posted it, they seemed to indicate that clearly Ole is doing a good job because this manager said so
Oh sorry my bad, totally misinterpreted that.

I am starting to dislike him now simply because we are in this shit because of him. He is not competent enough to coach yet he won't accept it and hire more competent people than his current coaches. I have been a supporter of Manchester United since 1967. Yes long before he was born.

What I dislike about Solskjaer is that he thinks he has a divine right to manage the club. He's been all smiles this week, even claiming to enjoy the criticism that has come his way in the wake of the Liverpool defeat. He is the safest manager in elite football and he knows it. Fergie hasn't helped at all by running to his rescue. It appears he must succeed at all costs

Showed his tactical flexibilty when he changed the shape after Varane went off and we needed a goal.

Gasperini was right to be worried all night. He knew Ole had an ace up his sleeve.

Agreed, this is why I always say Ole > Pep

Should give Bailly and Varane partnership a go.
Also should give DVB a run in the team.

The biggest mistake of Ole’s United manager career is having a few favourites and running them into the ground.

Just like Pirlo last year, carried by the best player of all time. That first half where he played Rashford on the left yet nobody on the right is a tactics I used playing FM

Irish TV rightly saying it's crazy that's Ole is still managing us.

Based on tonight he has to be fired once again.

Tonight was not a positive in any way other than the fact we have Ronaldo

Had the game under control and with this brilliant result I think he deserves to get until the end of the season because SAF struggled too in 2001 and look how that turned out. So glad our board didn't make any stupid decision and we dodged a bullet with Conte who has 0 United DNA.

Blind luck?

He's an abysmal manager and it's criminal we are wasting these players under him.

He constantly gives underperforming cnuts like Maguire and McT run outs, let's us play football that makes me want to stab my eyes out and still somehow survives in this job. Remarkable

He's shit. Amazing he's still on the job.

When he's finally gone he won't manage another single game in a top league.

I don't know how many shit games we have to play for this guy to realise the 4-2-4 is a shit formation for us defensively

This, we could be challenging for the title with conte, but I want united DNA, trophies are for egos.

Absolutely rubbish manager. It's insane he is still here

Glad Rio and Scholes said that we were still shit and will get spanked by City if we perform like that again

He's made a team with quality players look and play like absolute donkeys. Thank god Ronaldo's class isn't infected by Ole and the coaching staff and can produce moments of magic.

I hate the club for making me dislike Ole so much.

He should still be here, they are literally waiting for it to get toxic!

Awful tactically. We had no idea in that second half.

Why did we change shape when Varane went off, you don't change formation because one player is injured assuming you have been working on it all week and need it against city???

Why did Pogba and Mctominay stay on so long???

Why does Maguire continue to start despite being a liability???

Why does Greenwood come on before Sancho???

Why do Sancho and Donny only get 5 mins???

Why after three years do we have know style of play???

Why is Ole still here???

WHY DOESN'T THE CLUB CARE ABOUT FOOTBALL???

At this point, the management is just laughable.
I won’t even mention the fact we’re now playing our worse football since probably the van gaal era.
I don't like a 532, and I like it a lot less when I know Carrick Ole and McKenna are behind it.
But changing it so soon says it all about him. He's making it up as he goes along because he just don't have a clue what he's doing.

And why does he have such little standards? How abysmal does Harry Maguire have to get before he gets dropped?

I used to praise him for his man management but it's actually a disgrace at this point. How bad do the players playing in the positions that sancho and van de beek play in, have to get, before they get more than four mins in a game.

What does he need to happen to understand that Paul Pogba literally doesn't want to play for man United anymore. Stop picking him. He isn't Mbappe. We aren't PSG in ligue 1. Stop it now..

Ronaldo saving his arse in a way I’ve never seen before.

A dithering board and the greatest player of all time. The luckiest man in world football.

There's nothing more to say really, apart from a minority we all know he's way out of his depth and on borrowed time. The only shame is we have a squad filled with some of the best established and young players just wasting away.
