If I had to put my money on one human surviving a mass extinction event it would be him
He’d take the world to the brink of mass extinction only to suddenly find the cure the second before everyone gives up hope; to put the world back in a perilous situation 6 months later.

He'd probably spent the rest of his life sitting on a bench at Carrington 'coaching' skeletons dressed in United gear. He'd use two deflated ball as replacement for Carrick and Mckenna.

The hope is that a performance like this isn't enough to save him after City slap us on the weekend.

Do you remember when he was raving about giving youth a chance? He has played Anthony Elanga 17 minutes this season. As a left-back. No Amad, Mengi, Hannibal. Not a minute. A manager for Manchester United can't be a coward, and he sadly is one.

What exactly does he wants to do when he's waving his arms? It looks ridiculous. He does this a lot in recent months.

Makes him look like a clown.

Why does every player that Ole signs, Ole doesn't play.Apart from Ronaldo & Verane, who are undroppable, VDB, Sancho, Diallo, Pellestri, Heaton, Telles never get a game, what's the fecking point?
Hope the board realise …after all it was their money he‘s pissed away.

Ole is like me in football manager. Leaves all the settings on default, then picks random formations and expects it all to work. A pathetic Spurs saved his arse, nothing has really changed as we do the same shit over and over.

And I don’t mind we drew tonight, id Have taken it before KO, just pure luck again - no mastery

He has descended into talking bollox now going on about the attitude of the team and never giving up. Until Ronaldo scored the winner the Atalanta keeper didn’t have a save to make in the second half. He should admit that we were shit, have so much to improve on and were dug out by a special special player.

No chance he is gone.
We are beating City and going on a streak.
Problem is what comes after the 15 games (I reckon 11 wins 4 draws) when our first 11 get run into the ground and he keeps playing them and we start losing again..

OGS always selects the ‘Leave Assistant Manager to take training’ option :wenger:

His 3 at the back system is laughable with the use of AWB as right wing back. Offering nothing. Then this game playing a weird variation of 3 up top, while starting Pogba in midfield in place of the workhorse in Fred...

Having Varane played the whole match against Spurs returning from an injury instead of Cavani whose role in this Atalanta game is a sub midway into second half. Why Cavani got subbed off when we were comfortable against Spur? Whereas Varane should benefit from getting rested whenever we're comfortable, as we expect him to start games?
So that Btec Conte 352 kept a clean sheet for 1 game. We’re fecked come Saturday.

This has always been my issue with him & is why I tend to stay away from his previous match threads & not watch his post match interviews.

To an extent you can understand the delusion early on but he keeps peddling this narrative that, things are fine, ‘we’ve come too far’, ‘united way’, ‘attacking football’ when everything we’ve been forced to watch for 3 seasons says otherwise.

He’s never going to come out & say, ‘I’m clueless’ but don’t take the piss out of people listening. Our ‘attitude’ in both matches has fecking stunk. Thank god I tuned him out a while ago.

Showed his tactical flexibilty when he changed the shape after Varane went off and we needed a goal.

Gasperini was right to be worried all night. He knew Ole had an ace up his sleeve.
You must have hallucinogens up yours

Don't know about anyone else but Ole's voice is beginning to grind on me. Mute button at the ready.

We're into November now and you could count our good performances on the fingers of one hand: Leeds, West Ham (though win came towards the end and then DDG penalty save), Atalanta at home (this is debatable, cheap goals conceded but we did dominate after that and created so many chances) and Tottenham (who were dreadful). That's 4 games, someone wouldn't even count one or those of those 4 so it's really been bad.

Just hope Ole doesn't ruin out chances of getting through group stages, and that possibility is still well alive. Don't expect much in the league, perhaps formation with 5 at the back makes us concede less at least.

Redcafe: Ole is always glued to his seat,no passion.
Ole: Say no more(now waves his hands aimlessly).

How is he still managing us is beyond me. He should be ashamed of what ever work he and his support staff are doing. And I dare if anyone brings Sir alex or Klopp analogy. The guy is fooling everyone. For the first time I actually abused him. Leave the club please Ole. Don't make me hate you.

Where on earth did the midfield shape dissapear to tonight!? What was going on?

Bruno roams, mctom gets dragged to the right to cover, pogba shuffles into the centre and dissapears and Shaw is left covering the entire left side of the pitch on his own and that was with or without the ball.

No idea, we saw a nice disciplined midfield performance on Saturday where the players on the most part stayed in there position, tonight looked like a complete free for all again. If its like that against City, we will get spanked again.

Baffling the difference although when you play that clown Pogba it's always a possibility. The guy shouldn't play another game for us

Even that would work much better if he actually brought in world-class coaches. Scary thing is that Ole is not just like an FM player, he is like a quite bad FM player - assembling a better squad, but a bloated and imbalanced one, not rotating enough, running players to the ground, rushing then back after injury, not upgrading coaching team, spending a lot on players and benching them, leaving substitutions too late, training one tactic and using another which does not fit with his transfers, giving undeserved contract extensions etc etc.

Surely it's a gift. Is it merely luck? Probably. But the sheer amount of times he does it is extraordinary.

Solksjaer is the master of moment's, I.e its moments of brilliance from world class players that bail him out during games.

There is no plan, its the hope Viva, Bruno or a.n other will unlock a defence.

Thats it. Its not coaching or managing, it's hoping, praying and it's piss poor.

But that's our lives now, Just hope and pray.

P.S Thank feck for Ronaldo, feck knows where we'd be without him this year.

Sound like a description of a cult leader :nervous:

He is undoubtably the luckiest manager of all time.

I've lost count how many times individual moments have saved this man.

Wasting this squad's talent, the years go on and the players stagnate or go backwards.

Yes, Chicago Bulls with Jordan are just the same as today's United, Ole. With one veeeery minor difference - they won major trophies.

There is no chance he's getting sacked after the City game.

I fully expect him to remain until the season's end.
