Why couldn’t he motivate the players to play like this versus Everton or other mid table team. We need consistency and I am skeptical that Ole can give us this level of consistency throughout a season. Other than, that great selection and no complaints about his game plan.

Are you kidding, this Chelsea midfield is soft as a pillow.

What does that mean? We should be doing better? Lukaku should body slam more of their midfielders?

It means it's easy to take the initiative and win a physical battle against the likes of jorginho than against idrissa gueye.

Jsutstretcher him off, that's an ACL. We need to get our momentum back asap. Only 25 minutes left at best

Think it's becoming obvious he's not lying about the fitness issues with this squad. And I'm not talking about injuries.

Ole is to blame ? We have a number 2 keeper for a reason. De Gea has been cr@p since the world cup, he shouldn't play the remainder of the season. Get his contract situation sorted, either he stays or goes and we begin next season.

If he can't get the team to win 3 games in 10 how can we trust him to rebuild anything. He needs to be let go.

De Gea's drop in form has sweet feck all to do with the contract.

Every time contract talks come about De Gea drags it out on purpose, its the 3rd time he's done this and but for a "faulty" fax machine he wouldn't be here!

Honestly I've been defending him but now I'm starting to get worried. Imagine playing in the Europa League and this guy as a manager. Can't see many who would want to come here.

Are you seriously judging what you see today on fecking Solskjaer? Good grief.

We look absolutely knackered.

Who the feck am I supposed to judge? We are being given chances for CL qualification handed to us on silver plates and we can't win a single fecking game?

The de Gea situation is a tough one tbh. I'm guessing everyone wants him to sign a new deal and thinks this form is just a blip.

Dropping him would show a lack of faith, and probably makes it harder to get him to commit.

Van Gaal levels of lunacy in terms of substitutions.

He honestly hasn't got a clue. Deer in headlights during matches.

We look absolutely spent. Ole has said early on the fitness levels aren't good enough.

Do the math.

Another defensive coach who has no idea how to play attacking football.

I like him but he has no tactics how to attack.

3rd time? What are you on about? Since that fax thing he havent signed a new one yet and that was his first renewed since 2011.

Started okay, as it did against City, but this team can’t cope with playing 90 minutes and has offered nothing again in the second half. Sad. Pathetic and sad.

Bringing on MC Tominay when we need a goal. Bringing Sanchez on when hasn't played for months. Worst form for 50 years. Keeps playing De gea. Every half time talk result in a worse performance. 7 loses in 9 and we are supposed to trust him.

Should be dropped De Gea.

Isn't improving our possession footballing enough. If we're not opening teams up in two three passes we offer very little. Disappointing.

And..McTominay when you need a goal?

He is out of his depth. Seems clear as day he has no idea how to get them playing football. He is not fit to manage any PL team, let alone United.

And is it not up to him and the coaching staff to make sure it is? Look at Liverpool with their high tempo football and constant pressing fielding almost the same starting 11 every single game. Do they look knackered? Sounds like poor excuses to me..

You're clueless, pointless argument. You don't dramatically improve fitness during the season while playing matches.

Guardiola and Kloop build a good team, even Pochettino without spending big.

I hope Ole could be able to build an amazing and talented team so we can be able to return to our winning days.

Took Klopp three seasons to get them to that level of match fitness. Liverpool were knackered at the end of matches and plagued with injuries for the two first seasons. Solskjaer hasn't even had a preseason (!).

I was writing to contradict this, but other people have, so I'll just say... you're absolutely wrong mate. Sorry about that.

I'm sorry but this is on Ole if we lose this chance as much as the players. We all saw before the game that we had to drop De Gea as he's awfully out of form but Ole went the sentimental way and still picked him. That's not a sign of a top manager. You have to make some unpopular decisions if you want to be successful and he didn't and guess what? It cost us. It's so feckin predictable. There is no place for sentimentality in football especially if you're in a shit situation like we're. You always play your best possible 11 (and it's not just about their talent, status; form is a big decisive factor too) in the current conditions for the good of the team and don't care about the names. WTF are the likes of Young, Lukaku, Matic, De Gea, Rashford doing in our 11 when they've been awful in the last couple of weeks/months? You have to drop them if they're not performing.

Chelsea, they're nothing special and were there for the taking and we fecked it up. I love Ole, he knows the club inside out and was a great choice for the caretaker role but not sure if he's the man to take us where we want to be.

Apologies 2nd, doing the same thing though...running the deal down.

This has dragged out now again all season long, Jose at one point said he'd signed on and then nothing was announced.... he's now got 14 months left so we cash in or let him walk for free...what's better?

Other than when they were playing football under him?
So basically that was down to him and this is down to the players? Also apart from 2-3 games we weren't really that good under him in terms of performances.

I'm stunned, such a bad second half, uninspiring subs, no clear plan.

Yes our players are shit, but he's starting to look terrible too.

Another pathetic performance.

Unbelievably clueless in everthing. Same useless tactics, playing liabilities across the pitch and then nothing to push on in the final 10.
