fecking disgrace. Hope the lot of them burn in hell.

So Panorama was interesting tonight to say the least!

How a murder weapon ended up on display in the imperial war museum in London just beggars all belief!

It's all about to collapse

Looks like the Provos are up to it again, and SF caught with their pants down

Trust completely blown out of the water

So they didn't go away Gerry

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned, maybe it was somewhere else?

Prison Officer was murdered on Tuesday succumbing from injuries suffered when Republicans planted a booby-trap bomb under his van.

*Dissident Republicans, you mean.

Not sure if the murder rap will stick myself, think he'll get off with it. Man is treated in hospital, released home before suffering blood clot related heart attack.

If the can relate the cause of death to the attack then should be fairly straight forward to be honest.

Wasnt sure where else to post this and didnt want to start a new thread.

What does everyone make of the McElduff incident?

Whether his actions were intentional or not he should have either resigned or been sacked. SF missed a trick here actually to make a statment IMO, and Im a nationalist.

On the other hand, that ididot Frazer uploaded a video onto Facebook last night about it which is actually beyond words. That man is ill.

Yeah, I am surprised they didn't sack him. Sort of lose credibility in looking for others to step down.

Re Frazer, just completely bonkers. He is unstable.

Agreed. They lost the moral high ground by not doing one or the other.
Damage limitation was always the way to go.

Yeah was stupid by McElduff alright and he probably should have stepped down.

Having said that I don’t see what he was trying to achieve with the video but I know he didn’t mean to offend victims, it was just absolutely idiotic. Usually his videos are very funny (see the one about the DUP vending machine) and Barry is an absolute gentleman who has done great work for his constituents.

As for Frazer, I’m not sure why he hasn’t been sectioned yet, but he’s a great propaganda machine for Sinn Fein and should be held as a great symbol of the peace process, as both sides can agree on what a tool he is. Oh, and he definitely believes McElduff really is behind that door in the video.

The Kingsmill incident... Do you think he was originally involved? I mean, as a shooter?

Also, is that a bally he's wearing in the photo?

When parties are so divided, incidents like these are seen as losing to the opposition rather than a gain for the electorate. The hatred for the opposition outweighs the ability to admit wrongdoing. The same thing is happening in the US.

There isn’t really a moral high ground in Northern Ireland politics.

Out of curiosity, is there a party in the North that isn't in any way connected to sectarianism? What's the party that people on both sides would vote for?

Alliance/Greens is where the moderate, non-tribal votes would go.
