The bias is clear and you know exactly what you’re doing.Scrapping the barrel now.

Bias is clear that a vile song can’t be condemned without “sure I never hear it” or “whatabout them GAA players”..The bias is clear and you know exactly what you’re doing.
He condemned it by listing more than one example and condemned them all. What would you like? To lie about whether he’s heard it before. This thread leans very heavily toward nationalist and anybody from outside this country reading it will come away with only one perception. And that’s clearly the way you would like it be hence your playing down GAA players as simply nationalists and what you clearly depict as harmless Wolftones songs.Bias is clear that a vile song can’t be condemned without “sure I never hear it” or “whatabout them GAA players”..
Didn’t say they were harmless, where did you read that? I was giving context to anyone reading. He condemned it by listing more than one example and condemned them all. What would you like? You've misunderstood. What I was saying in my first post, which was unrelated to my 2nd post, was if they punish these people quickly, I don't think this a "popular" song that is sung and could easily be shut down quickly.Bias is clear that a vile song can’t be condemned without “sure I never hear it” or “whatabout them GAA players”..
No place for it really, I know a lot of the popular pubs and that have a zero tolerance policy towards Wolf Tone songs and so it should be. I don’t think they should be headlining the Feile either. You've misunderstood. Unlike other "normal" hateful songs which are sung all around the country.
But what I'm saying is this song Inparticular, which targets one specific person and imo is worse than those "general" songs which target groups of people, could be stopped. No place for it really, I know a lot of the popular pubs and that have a zero tolerance policy towards Wolf Tone songs and so it should be. But, to be realistic we are never going to cut it out altogether, it’s like football chants, never going to stop it.
In common place I mean the culture of singing these types of songs didn’t seem strange at all, maybe not this one in particular but it’s obviously not a new thing. But what I'm saying is this song Inparticular, which targets one specific person and imo is worse than those "general" songs which target groups of people, could be stopped.
I genuinely don't think this song is widespread, nor do the 2 others posters who quoted me.
We will never stop loyalists singing feck the pope and the ira to we are the champions or those gaa boys singing whatever it is they sing, but this song could be stopped in their tracks right now with harsh punishment.
You can see in the video it was only a few boys singing and the rest were hearing it for the first time laughing along hysterically, so I don't think it's commonplace.
Is that Jamie byrsons company?
Of course it is, and itl never stop. But this song in particular which is abhorrent, I think could be stopped in its tracks. In common place I mean the culture of singing these types of songs didn’t seem strange at all, maybe not this one in particular but it’s obviously not a new thing.
To be fair, and I've no idea if it was his intention, but nationalist/loyalist is a better term to use when discussing anything political or trouble related given it's not really got anything to do with religion other than people being born into geographic areas. You seem to label Catholics as nationalist and Protestants as loyalists. Almost like you have some bias yourself.

They aren't being knob heads because they're fighting some holy war based on beliefs relating to god
It was. It was dissolved years ago. This doesn’t make any senseIs that Jamie byrsons company?

Reckon it's a pisstake? He condemned it this morning, would be odd for those boys to then go through him to apologise for their actions and if you were genuine you wouldn't go anywhere near himIt was. It was dissolved years ago. This doesn’t make any sense
Republican would be the loyalist equivalent. He knows exactly what he was doing. To be fair, and I've no idea if it was his intention, but nationalist/loyalist is a better term to use when discussing anything political or trouble related given it's not really got anything to do with religion other than people being born into geographic areas.

I said loyalist because it was members of the loyal orange order and nationalist because it was members of nationalist GAA teams, but keep looking for an angle that’s not there.Republican would be the loyalist equivalent. He knows exactly what he was doing.
sure, if you want to pick nits then knock yourself outRepublican would be the loyalist equivalent. He knows exactly what he was doing.
Whatever makes you happy.I said loyalist because it was members of the loyal orange order and nationalist because it was members of nationalist GAA teams, but keep looking for an angle that’s not there.
It’s a clear distinction. And it happens regularly.infact no, thats not even nit picking, just flat out pedantic
There's an obvious question to retort with but I don't care enough to bother getting into something so trivialIt’s a clear distinction. And it happens regularly.

Nationalist is the loyalist equivalent
It actually isn't but I'm also not sure deery meant anything by it eitherNationalist is the loyalist equivalent
No it isn’t. That would be Republican.Nationalist is the loyalist equivalent

So this video was up from Saturday it seems. And only got taken down when it went viral by people who clearly weren’t supposed to see it.
their apology means feck all. Only sorry they were caught.
No you’re right, I didn’t mean anything by it.It actually isn't but I'm also not sure deery meant anything by it either
did you see them sing it, every one of them knew it off by heart
Everyone uses the terms as just whatever first comes out of their mouth, but technically the other poster would be correct in what term matches the otherNo you’re right, I didn’t mean anything by it.
Who specifically is these cnuts? Because it definitely isn't all unionists if that's what you're applyingthats been defunct for 4 or 5 years
its been a sickening day here
there is absolutely no depth of depravity these cnuts would not sink to
The cnuts in that room singing the song?Who specifically is these cnuts? Because it definitely isn't all unionists if that's what you're applying
