The Football Wrench
The Woodland area in Odyssey absolutely suuuuucks compared to all the others.
Same, I'm almost through the first fall and I'm not really sure why I keep going.I bought Stardew Valley. And I actually took my Switch out of the dock. Enjoyable game even though I don't really know what I'm doing. Chopped down a lot of trees, though.

I was the same. Give me another week or so and I'll give you a yay or nay on it.I was toying with the idea of buying this some time ago. Heard that it suited the Switch really well and can be pretty addicting. Watched some videos and it didn't really grab me. Still on the fence with it.
Yeah I saw it mentioned on Reddit last night after IGN's 10/10 review. Looks cool!@Olly have you seen that game Celeste that’s just been released in the eshop? Been getting great reviews and you love a good platformer.

Know that you are not alone, mate. Come here and give me a hu.. nope, wait, just a game, just a game.I thought this but my mate thought I was daft for thinking it.

Have you found the secret underground section ?The Woodland area in Odyssey absolutely suuuuucks compared to all the others.
Yeah and I hate it!Have you found the secret underground section ?
Ah fair enough. I thought the level wasn't that great until I found the secret bottom floor.Yeah and I hate it!
Celeste is one of the most incredible platformers I have ever played.
I keep hearing this. I’m gonna have to buy it.
I think it’s £18. I’m hoping it will get a physical edition. If no word after a few months then I’ll snap and buy...How much is it?
How much is it?
Can't remember exactly, but close to £20. A bit steep but worth it I think.
Xenoblade had dropped to 30 on amazonI'll check it out. Thouugh I planned on buying Xenoblade or Mario Odyssey after I've finished Zelda.
Battery life on the joycons is amazing. So refreshing being able to use the console all day without having to swap and charge (here's looking at you PS4).
Apparently not any time soon. It’s incredibly popular so no reason to lower the price. I had the same issue as you and inquired myself, but no price drop in sight apparently. When would people say we're looking at a slight price drop in these?
I badly want to get it but the issue is that I'm not sure I can justify paying that amount of money when the only two games that really have me wanting to buy it are Mario Kart and Zelda (Mario Odyssey as well actually). Huge Mario Kart fan so I'm clucking to play it. I haven't done enough research, are there currently many other good games available that are only available on the Switch or many that are coming out over the course of the next 6 months or so?
I'm also put off by the fact it costs 60 fecking quid for a controller
I need you to give me all of the pro's and con's to help me make a decision.
I doubt it mate - it's selling like how cakes so until sales start slowing why reduce it?When would people say we're looking at a slight price drop in these?

I find the lack of Xenoblade 2 disturbing.I doubt it mate - it's selling like how cakes so until sales start slowing why reduce it?
There's plenty of great games on the Switch - and even ones that aren't exclusive but are still 'better' because they are now portable. (e.g. Stardew Valley) Personally I love my Switch - my first Nintendo console since my N64
For me the killer games are:
And my favourite indie games are Stardew Valley and SteamWorld Heist (again the best way of playing these).
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Zelda
- Mario and Rabbids
- Mario Kart 8
- Arms
This year I'll be picking up... Donkey Kong, Mario Tennis and Kirby.
Sure there are other games not been announced yet too.
And yes the controllers are expensive - I can't counter that one
