Gaming Nintendo Switch

Eh, large box super Metroid?
Nope!

Seeing as Nintendo doesn't want my money right now (NES mini) and I have a retro itch that I need to scratch, I've been thinking of buying a deluxe retro console from these guys

https://joysticked-co-uk.myshopify....age/products/retrogamingconsolewith17000games.

Comes pre loaded with 17000 games (nes, SNES, N64, mega drive, master system, game boy, ps1).

You could just get a android box with a emulator and usb nes/snes controllers for under £50

Edit: decorativeed beat me too it...

So, seems purchases will now be linked to accounts rather than devices, step in the right direction for Nintendo.
It's been like that for a couple of years, not sure why it took them so long.

Can't decide whether to keep my shopto grey preorder or amazon neon order, amazon usually deliver by midday for me, shopto use DPD which can be tracked better

So I have only vaguely followed the Switch, do people think it is worth getting? I would mostly be looking to get games like Zelda but i'm sure there are one or two others worth it.

What do you think @Olly ?

Depends on the person really. I had to cancel my preorder because I can't stop buying SNES games  I'm hoping there'll be a bundle for Mario later in the year.

If you really want to play Zelda and there are one or two other games that might interest you in the first month or so, then it might be worth it.

Edit: Stolen from Reddit to help you decide

Good few more games coming out this year than I expected, barring any delays.

I've pre-ordered but very close to cancelling - I'm a huge Zelda fan with a daily commute, so the thought of that on the train is appealing but outside of the new Mario, I don't think there's one other game out this year I want. Was hoping for a Zelda review before to judge whether it's worth the early investment but it's almost certainly not going to be.

I really really want to get one (and support Nintendo) but I'm struggling to justify it until more games come out. However if I (and other folks who like Nintendo being different from Sony/Microsofy graphic wars) don't support the console at the start, it will fail and games won't come out. It's a mess...

So, they released a list of the sizes of some of the launch, and early release download games.

Dragon Quest Heroes is 32 GB, which means it won't fit on the Switch with just it's built-in memory.... Nintendo.

We going to have any redcafe Mario Kart tournaments on the Switch?

Imagine the fun

I really hope they've added an item toggle in the game now. The blue shell must be removed.
