Thanks, I'll need it as I probably buggered things up even more taking it apart. Just with the Vita falling on the floor a couple of times before it stopped charging, I thought it might be likely that something might have got loose inside
Well, that would make sense TBF. Is it still under warranty? Maybe sending it to Sony and letting them figure the problem out would be the easiest thing.
Nah, warranty ran out which is why I opened it (opening it voids warranty automatically anyway).
Ah ok, I guess replacing the battery is probably the best option then.

Happened with mine a while ago, it fixed itself somehow.
Doubt mine'll fix itself now that I've took it apart.
Will still keep console for time being and see in a few weeks if it does fix itself, but managed to get a slim Vita today. Not as bad as I thought it'd be. Still miss the original Vita's screen, but the new one is probably easier on the eyes.

If by any chance anybody has a DSi or DSi XL you can use the charger from that.
Nintendo had the brainwave at the time that most would be upgrading from regular 3DS models, so would already have chargers.

Got Sonic Generations for the 3ds with a voucher my sister gave me, hated it at first but am enjoying it now. Can anyone recommend me some more games for the ds? Thinking of donkey Kong or a Zelda game, but ye, any suggestions?
