Where did you see that? I haven't seen anything about MM3D being better on the New 3DS. There's Xenoblade 3D which is only compatible with the New 3DS, but that's all I've seen so far.

This, you can use the C-stick for looking around. Handier than the solution in Ocarina.

You press a button on the touch screen to lock Link in place and then use the circle pad to move the camera about. Or you could move the 3DS about itself.

Not really worth trading in your old 3DS for a new one because then you won't be able to do a system transfer between them.
I am such an idiot. Earlier today I had the chance to pre-order that very console from Nintendo's website. I didn't have my card with me at the time so went to find it. An hour or two later when I did actually have the card it had all sold out. Bleh.

Thanks for the links but really wanted that MM edition one. Only cost £210 too! Compared to £225 for the metallic blue one.

I remember a couple of years ago wanting that Pikachu 3DS XL. I saw it on a couple of places for around £170 but decided to see if it would be cheaper on any other sites. A week or two later every site was out of stock and it was on eBay for £300+

For the past few hours I've had a tab open to the french version of Amazon as they're selling the MM Edition there too. Out of stock but about 40 minutes ago I refreshed the page and it was back in stock (guess someone cancelled their order or something). Went to take it to the checkout but took a while as my French is rusty... by the time I had got it all sorted it said it was out of stock. Bah.
I'm prepared for next time (if there is one). Got it set so it'll automatically translate that site.
I think the moral of the story (for Zelda/Pokemon related Nintendo stuff anyway), is if you see something you like somewhere, get it there and then as odds are it'll be sold out not long after and you'd end up missing out or paying more later.
