Gaming Nintendo 3DS vs PS Vita thread.

It's apparently on Nintendo Treehouse tomorow? Can't wait to see it properly. I looked those guys up and they're more than just qualified... sounds great.

Advance Wars was turn based and awesome. These guys did Advance Wars, so it might be good?

Schreier: I have to ask... I asked readers what questions I should ask you, and the number one question was that you've hinted so many times about a new Majora's Mask or a Majora's Mask remake for the 3DS—will we ever see that?

Aonuma: I do know that fans want to see Majora's Mask. I've heard that voice, it's very, very strong, and I'm always listening, is what I would say.

Schreier: I think people reacted to the teaser in A Link Between Worlds, the mask in the house. People saw that and thought it was a hint for the future, so that's why people are excited about that.

Aonuma: Maybe I was toying with them a little. (laughter) I'm doing everything I can. I hear the voices of the fans. There are so many out there. It's very loud, and just to acknowledge the fact that the need, the want is out there, I put that in there.

Don't know if this is allowed, but I have 2x 4GB PS Vita memory cards and a 8GB card I'm trying to sell. I thought maybe someone here would be interested.

ITs not allowed.

Why would you bother selling them, you wont get very much for them

Something that's on many other platforms and will be on PS4 too? No.

Vita needs original games, and not games that end up being put on PS4 within a few months

I hope Nintendo release Yokai Watch in Europe. It's selling amazingly in Japan.

Unsurprisingly Vita was yet again pretty much ignored at Gamescom, and Sony don't bother at all with advertising the system. Even with the Minecraft stuff above, you won't see an advert for it on TV.

The Vita is a quality piece of kit, and deserves better, but nothing will change. Sony had their chance at E3 and Gamescom to show that, and haven't. I don't regret my decision to purchase one at all, but the treatment of it is almost criminal.

I regret my decision, but more because I bought the 3G version at launch. With accessories, games and memory cards I might have spent more on it than the Xbox One and for the most part the only games I've really played have been from the classics library.

I hate seeing them go for like £80 on HOTUK now, what a waste of money - my own fault of course.

I got mine at a good time, when it was a few months or so before they were replaced by the slim vitas, so there were some good cheap deals for the 3G one.

I did try using the GPS on it once with the 3G when my phone was fecked, but it didn't even work. The map just wouldn't load despite being in the middle of Birmingham.

I don't even think I got a good deal for it. I probably thought I got a good deal for it because I brought it through the Playstation rewards website.

I've got the launch 3G version, and it cost me a bomb at the time.

It's had its value for money though in terms of how long my son has used it. He still prefers playing FIFA 14 on it than on the PS4.

It's basically a dead system at the minute. Does it have a single full budget title coming out, in the mould of Uncharted/Assassins Creed etc.? I don't think so. I have a backlog on it thanks to PS+ plus I use Remote Play a lot, also it plays PSP games so there's plenty of stuff to play. At €150 you can buy it for at the minute it's an attractive proposition.

Jesus, that must have been a harrowing expierience for you.

ffs I could use that money so much right now. That's not including all the games and memory cards.

That money is PS4 money.

I absolutely love my Vita(got a good enough deal on it, IIRC), but as said, it's practically criminal how wasted it is by Sony and co. So much potential, such a powerful piece of hardware.

It should blow the 3DS out of the water, but it's looking like it never will compare to it, never mind keep up with it.
