I have noticed on my order confirmation that the dickhead who was putting my order through for me didn't stick a charger in there like i asked (i said about 4 fecking times!). Luckily the starter kit i bought has a USB charge cable so at least i won't run dry, just have to make sure i pick a mains one up at some point.

The lack of a charger is a bit annoying if you don't have a 3ds already.

Sorry to disturb the Pokemon strummers, but I have a PS Vita question. I'm seriously considering buying one mostly for remote play on the PS4, but what games would one recommend to slightly justify my purchase a little more? £150 just to play my PS4 while lying down and watching X factor is a bit much, see.
What genres are you interested in?
The original FIFA Football/Soccer is a great handheld, but the issue is the two released since (FIFA 13 and 14) have been identical copies but with the kits and squads updated.
For racing games, Sonic Transformed, Need for Speed Most Wanted and Wipeout should all be knocking about pretty cheap. All great fun.
Shooters? Call of Duty is shit, haven't played Resistance but it got piss poor reviews. Killzone beta was loads of fun, haven't brought it yet but if you enjoy online multiplayer then that would be the way to go.
If you're a fan of Uncharted, the Golden Abyss game has a great campaign.
Providing the remote play works as well as I hope, Fifa would be needless as I'd have it for the PS4. Racing games I would tire of too quickly. I'm a huge fan of Uncharted, is there an actual Uncharted game available for it?
I've noticed I can get Littlebigplanet for about £10. I've always had fun with that so it would be a good option for the price.

Oh, oh, another Vita question. If I wanted to play a PC game remotely (basically, football manager) using the Vita, could I do that? Playing football manager in my pants while lying down and watching X factor is the dream.

Yeah, Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Pretty sure you can grab it for under 10£ as it was a launch game. It's lots of fun.
You'd have to buy the Vita version, which is just the same as the mobile version - ridiculously overpriced compared too.
Ahh, I can't handle the dumbed down version of FM. I hoped there would be a way of remote play from the PC itself, but I guess if there was I could have done it on the Ipad by now anyway.
Also, is there just the one model for the PS Vita out currently or in the pipeline? I wouldn't wantto splash out only for a new one to come out in a few months, which seems to happen with everything I buy.

My ten year old niece and nephew play Pokemon on their DS's so I assumed it was a kiddies game :-)
It's one of those of those very rare gems that anyone can play and enjoy. It has a lot of depth to explore for big kids like us, but the surface is fun too for real kids
The Vita is a nice piece of kit but has a severe lack of good games. Uncharted was quite good but not great.
But there is the option to download old PS games if thats your thing. I got mine for free so I am happy with it. But not sure if it is worth forking out £150. I am not mad into handheld consoles, but I also have a 3DS. There is no contest between the two. 3DS is a country mile ahead of the VITA.
PS Plus is certainly recommended with the VIta, as you will get 2-3 free games for it each month. I have gotten Uncharted and Streetfighter X Tekken so far.
Ahh, this is what I wanted to hear. See, the 3DS would appeal to me much more for the Marios, Zeldas etc. but as I mentioned before, PS4 remote play is huge for me. Really, I should hold off and make sure it works as well as I hope, and by the time i've sold my PS3 and 360 to raise the funds that will probably be confirmed anyway.
Saying that, I have just bid for a Vita on ebay as I couldn't help my self at the price. I don't really plan on bidding higher though so all i've done really is piss a genuine bidder off.
Old PS games sounds good, as I do get hit by nostalgia every so often.
Nostalgia is good, which is even better on 3DS, cos you download old NES games like Mario 1 and 2 and Castlevania.
