Maybe i was asking a bit much, in supposing that every United fan on here realised there were on going, (years) of rumours surrounding NG & United & that a thread, in the Transfer Forum, entitled, "Nicolas Gaitan - Rumour or rubbish" could have been interpreted in any other way, other than,

To reiterate, I did believe the thread title, spoke for itself. I wasn't quoting sources or claiming personal knowledge, I was simply asking, did people give any weight to the latest, round of 'Rumours' or, did people regard the latest reports, as 'Rubbish'

Seems to have a bit more momentum than in previous years, this rumour. The quoted price seems reasonable but it would effectively end any hope of landing Bale. And Bale would be funnier.

Well, I would hope that one look at the Transfer Forum, would see that the NG bumped thread was locked. One read of the final mod. post in that thread would see that in part, it was closed due to the whim of a mod. who didn't like the source. Fine, the source is garbage, we all know that but as others have since mentioned & as I was attempting to point out, by starting the new thread, there was more than source - all suspect but non the less, many.
If I was remiss in not giving a more thorough title, I apologise. However, on the point of not including links to further sources, that was the whole point, namely, are the continuing & gathering stories on this player, rumours or rubbish - I was asking the question? By quoting sources I would be open to accusations of giving them credence, when I was merely asking others their opinion & in doing so, offering the chance for others comment on the latest round of multiple sourced stories which, the mod, had denied, by locking the original thread.

The issue with this thread has been the lack of quoted sources in the OP.
It's not difficult to grasp. If you start a thread, cite your sources in the OP.
No, it is not sufficient that a locked thread was on the front page when you made it, because it soon won't be and you're opening a new discussion, you can't be reliant on everyone having seen something else, nor can you expect people to have to take to Google to find your sources.

You still don't comprehend the title of the thread. It was asking a question about the rumours - pretty simple. I didn't include the further sources because I myself, didn't particularly think they held any weight. If I'd have included sources this would no doubt have been interpreted as support from me, for the rumours. Any clearer?

Seems to be a bit of everything. Hes played mostly as a left winger/left forward this season.
I think he'll be on loan, and Mata is a strange one, I can see his role changing once the midfield is sured up. Thats why I said I can see it happening (unless we keep Nani).
I've seen some bit of him and he is not that bad, i would go as far as saying he is a couple of levels higher than Young.
I for one am disappointed that I didn't get to see yet another Gaitan thread where everyone lols about how we are linked to him every year.
