that was the most brilliant game for the Leafs in the 2004 playoffs! :drool:
not just b'coz of the scoreline, it's b'coz of their effort they put in!!

Toronto won 3-1 tonight, series tied 2-2
the Flyers were just not as good as they were in game 1! I don't know what happened with them, but the only thing I know is, if they still play like that, they will lose game 5 and 6 (and that's what I wanna see... :D )

BTW, I heard Don Cherry isn't going to get his contract renewed by CBC. Now thats a national travesty.

McCabe cost us about 4 goals today. fecking horrible performance.

I really hope Quinn promotes the Kaberle/Klee line for game 6. They are playing at a higher level right now.

i think Kaberle played ok today, and Ken Klee also....... and I don't like the Wilm-Francis-Tucker line.....i thought it would be better if he sticked with the Sundin-Roberts-Tucker line and put Reichel in the Francis line, and....that would be Francis-Reichel-Mogilny, he 'promoted' Mogilny to the Sundin line 'coz he was brilliant in game 3, but that's not enough..... :smirk: :o
oh btw... was it not Kaberle-Marchment, Klee-Berg? and...Domi-Kilger-Nieuwendyk...Ponikarovsky-Antropov-Belak? the line up report in the Maple Leafs' web wasn't the one I saw this afternoon....
 
now I get the chance to go to ACC to watch the Leafs again...and I don't want to see them lose.... i hope they will be playing like there's no tomorrow.... :devil:

was watching after the horn on the Leafs TV, some of the callers said 'FIRE PAT QUINN'....good one :D
btw, anyone knows what's PIM stands for? Penalties in match?...whatever....and how do you calculate the points in the playoffs?

Reichel-The Dyker-Domi

Kilger-Francis-Belak

Defensively:

Kaberle-Klee

McCabe-Leetch

Marchment-Berg
 
Did anyone see the segment on SportsCenter about the goalie who's throat was slashed by a skate? That was gruesome. The goalie takes off his mask and blood just pours to the ice. There was like a 3 foot puddle of blood by the time the medics were on the ice. You can see the goalie telling the trainer, "I'm going to die." :(

And he was back in action three weeks later. Think his name was Malarchuck. Anyone recall this?

i forgot who's the one who gave away the puck and that resulted in we losing 2-0 ....but..it was a crap play by the Leafs....
anyhow.. the game ended 3-2 (1OT), the Flyers won... but, I gotta pick Mats Sundin as the MVP for tonight's match, he's outstanding
