Nhl 2010-2011

Gotta say I've been very impressed with Jumbo Joe in this game.

But the Sharks need to keep their cool. The Wings definitely stole the momentum after getting the goal.

What a great game of hockey.

I like Sharks better than Detroit but them choking again would be a bit amusing. This game is destined for OT.

God I hate the Sharks and Marleau so much I was actually rooting for Wings

I feel so dirty right now

No Colorado fan should ever cheer on a Red Wings team especially with Bertuzzi on their roster:eek:;)

Yeah, I know, if felt really, really wrong, and I kind of forgot Bertuzzi was playing. The rivalry has lost much of its edge in recent years, I find myself far more bitter at my Vancouver and Edmonton supporter buddies, rather than the ones that support Detroit

They do have Datsyuk, Lindstrom, Modano, Zetterberg, who are players I really respect or enjoy watching in full flight

It was about seeing Datsyuk at his height sort of, and about wanting to punch Marleau, Wellwood, and most of their team in the face

I hate the Sharks for some reason, probably because I have lost so much respect for them over the years...and I am really bitter about not beating them last year

The only teams I truly hate atm is Minnesota and St Louis. Wild because they bore me to death 8 matches every season and St Louis annoyed me even before the Johnson trade but now the deluded Blues fans are even worse.

Sharks-Boston;)

Sharks are stacked with forwards and now the whole choke ghost is gone, Vancouver got a worn out D corp with on off injuries the whole season and the Sedins need to step up. Niemi-Luongo is pretty even, both can win and lose games on their own.

I just feel Boston will shut down Tampa that need Roloson to keep it up. Boston simply is the deeper team and Tampa suit them fine, much better than a trapping Montreal for example. I also watched the last 3 matches between Boston-Tampa the past months in regular season due to betting and Boston won all 3.

Woohoo Sweden in the WC final, Finland would be tasty.

Yeah, the Sharks have some insane forward depth beyond their top guys. Pavelski, Clowe, Setoguchi, Couture..

Since they are largely a big physical team they might be able to shut down the Sedins as well, although they don't have a defense like the Hawks or the Preds so we'll see. Especially Henrik needs to show something, his game 7 against Chicago made me lose a lot of respect for him. He looked scared and lazy and he hasn't looked a whole lot better in the other games these playoffs.

Also agree that Boston looks stronger than the Bolts, but I hope Tampa win. They are my preferred Cup champions now.

Woohoo Sweden in the WC final, Finland would be tasty.

Will be awesome. Great shoving against the Czechs. Now on to helping Finland win another silver ;)

Damn always liked Boogeyman. Just 2 years older than me, crazy..... RIP

Lightning keep rolling on. Eight straight wins now, and six straight on the road.

Bruins have scored two power play goals in these playoffs. That's not Cup winning worthy. They'll need to improve on that to win this series let alone the whole thing. Problem is the Lightning have only allowed two power play goals to date.

Two goals conceded in about 55 power plays. So they are conceding a goal every 55 minutes playing short handed yet they concede a goal every 25 minutes with a full shift on the ice.

So basically a power play is not even worth getting excited about.

the Bruins DO have a power play. two pp goals with a 6-3 lead in a very wide open game. lots of end to end play. one period to play. GO Bs!!

edit: crazy game continued with the Bs holding on to win 6-5. this is not going to be easy.

Good game yesterday. This could become a great series.

Well, I guess you have to mention the World Championships.. Fecking Finland. Sweden is becoming the Arsenal of hockey. Young, promising, but fail to deliver when it matters.

Finnish people know how to celebrate you've got to give them that

How about that Ben Eager stupidity show last night? Did his best to make the Sharks get blown away by the Canucks.
