Officials have been bad today, with the Watt non-TD and now this.
 
They ruled it a catch but by rule with the fumble and no clear recovery they have to call it an incomplete pass, at least that's what Al Micheals explained.

Shouldn't a fumble with no clear recovery be placed on the spot of the fumble (e.g. when the ball gets fumbled out of bounds)?

Yes.

For there to have been no clear recovery, there had to have been a fumble... for there to have been a fumble, there had to have been a completed pass.

Can't see the Eagles coming up with a TD right now.
 
Haven't been able to establish the run all game, yeah let's waste 2 downs on runs straight up the middle.

I don't trust Trubisky at all but he doesn't need to go far for a FG indeed.
