Might be too late already, but they need to go to Flacco now. Lamar’s had his shot and it’s not working today. Harbaugh needs to do something, time is not on his side. Would be pretty bad not to give a former Super Bowl MVP a shot when the offense is as anemic as it is today.

The two wild cards in the AFC are serious contenders to play in the conference finals.

I thought Seattle’s refusal to throw it was weird. But the Ravens sticking with Jackson is just bizarre.

And people in the football forums think VAR will get everything right.

better than nothing though. did you watch football before replay? i still remember when carlyle holiday fumbled at the 2 yard line against michigan in 2002 and notre dame was given a touchdown. it was infuriating to have obvious mistakes ruin the whole season

Welp, it was a good run while it lasted, but it was going to end eventually, and in dramatic fashion. Have to work with Lamar and his mechanics in the off-season.

Nah replays have been involved as long as I've been watching, and you're right it's better than nothing and tbf American football is far better suited to replays than "soccer" given the stop/start nature of it.

Basically I was just being factitious you dick.

As a Patriots fan, the Chargers is the toughest match-up stylistically in the AFC (and possibly the whole league). Their offense is dynamic without the reliance on any one player for Belichick to take out of the game, and their defense is excellent too.

not really on him. the offensive line is getting killed
His lack of pocket awareness doesn’t help, though. He’s missed open receivers and has thrown an INT and fumbled twice. His movement inside the pocket is horrible. And they have no idea how to change their scheme with him on the field.

The pick wasn't his fault to be fair.

You can say pissed on American TV? nice.

I'm glad you said it, I was about to whine

yeah thats the best example but stuff like my example used to happen every single week and people just accepted it like it was no big deal

True. I remember when replay went away in the early-90s which led to shit like the Jets getting that Vinny touchdown against Seattle.

Chargers with a good win but their playcalling wasn't great. Jackson will be out of the league in 5 years.

Can’t have a breakdown like that. Anything but a big play. Just gave the Ravens a glimmer of hope.

Instead of the onside kick—probably the most dangerous play in football—teams could run one offensive play from the 35. To keep the ball, they’d be required to gain 15 yards. (That figure could be adjusted to match the historic success rate of onside kicks.) If they didn’t make the required yardage, the opposing team would get the ball at the spot of the tackle.

I like that idea.

How do you mistime the jump that bad? Should have at least broken that up.
