That was the incorrect call on a critical 3rd down in favor of the Hawks. The receiver had re-established forward momentum and was downed before the line to gain.

All Russ does every week is prove yet again that he is eleeeeeeeeeet. Guy is so good, how did he not make the Pro Bowl.

Went to the Jets-Packers game earlier. Are all Packers fans that obnoxious or just the ~30,000 that were inside the Metlife?

Mahomes is a slightly better Kapaernick. Don’t @ me.

Huge win for Seattle there. We needed it after the joke of a performance against the Niners.

That pass from Wilson to Lockett was absurd. Love that we became more aggressive down the stretch despite the lead, Wilson's just so damn good in the fourth quarter.

Saw someone point out elsewhere that the Browns have won as many games against Hue Jackson this season as they won with him

I get it. Players often try to sway officials by acting as if they’ve succeeded—shoutout to every single player who has ever enthusiastically pointed in his team’s direction as soon as a ball is fumbled, hoping the officials think, “well, this defensive back says it was a turnover, who am I to disagree?” But Nix was so wrong that nobody could possibly buy what he was selling. He was 20,000 leagues short of that first down. I walk pretty much everywhere, but if I had to go from where Nix was down to the first down marker, I’d probably call a Lyft.

 poor Nix

Why does Baker act like a flog towards Hue? Is it because he was just a shit head coach?

Was a shit head coach and kept slagging off all the players while trying to shift the blame from his feckless arse. The "I wanted every QB who has done well, honest" shit probably didn't help since that was both a pile of bullshit and could easily be taken as a shot of Mayfield. Then finally there's the going to the Bengals mid-season when the Browns still had to play them twice, whether you think it's justified or not there were other Browns players as well who viewed that as a betrayal.

Mahomes & Brees. Not even sure I’d put Rivers over him considering his weapons.
Not sure i'd put Brees above him right now either. Mahomes is just unfair though

He's going to be the answer to the Montana vs Brady vs Manning vs Rodgers argument  (:D)

Although the best player in the league right now is of course Big Dick Nick. Watch him lead the eagles to another SB win

It's one season wait till Tua gets here

Because he had the nerve to take a job with a rival after getting fired.

Yes I read those comments from Baker, which were laughable. As if that flog wouldn't take a contact offer from a division rival if he ever got cut.

That last part is just ridiculous. If any of those players got cut they would take up a contract offer from a rival, and who would blame them?

Those players need to get a damn clue if they honestly thought that.

The comments on that tweet though seem like a more valid reason.

Would be interesting to see how the players react to having to spend that much time away from home & if they could sell out every game.

Can't see them continuing to fill a stadium if they suck. The novelty of having NFL games to attend will wear off if it's the same team stinking it up week after week.

I don't imagine the players would be too psyched about it either, and it's a hell of a treck for a west coast team.

Don't think many would have begrudged him if he'd just taken the job, that shit happens a lot but with his comments on the Browns, the roster and Mayfield followed by him going to a divisional rival mid-season it's easy to see why Mayfield and the Browns took it as Hue being vengeful towards them and why they now use that as motivation. Personally I love his attitude.

This is a bad opinion tbh.

Also feck yeah, 9-6 and playoffs after losing Sherm, Earl, Bennett, Kam, Avril, Sheldon and Paul Richardson, Graham.

Yeah, 34 TDs, just 6 interceptions and a 112 passer rating, he's been incredibly effective. Only NFC QB who's been better this year is Brees.

Why did someone as talented as Mahomes drop to #10 in the draft anyway, did he have any red flags in college?

Because he came from a pass happy, air-raid like offense in college and those QBs have always had very spotty NFL careers. Keenum and Foles (and maybe Derek Carr) are the only ones who have actually had some degree of professional success.

Because the NFL is run for the most part by idiots. Even Jon fecking Gruden could see Mahomes talent, but apparently NFL scouts and GMs who picked before KC are stupider than him. The bears traded up to #2 for Trubisky.
