Definitely. The two QBs who Mayfield reminds me of stylistically (Favre and Brees) never actually got going until their 2nd seasons. Mayfield has barged into the worst team in the NFL as a rookie as if he owns the joint. Expecting to raise his game next year once he has the benefit of a full season and summer working with these players.

The only rookies in the mix with him for OROTY for me are Baker and Barkley, and I'd say he's out performing Barkley when you look at the amount they're each being targeted.
If Lindsay had a competent head coach his numbers would be off the chart.
He has a better yards per rush average than Barkley. I do think Barkley will be hard to beat for Rookie of the year since he is currently looking at about 2k all purpose yards including over 1k rushing and possibly 1k receiving with 100 receptions, which would be ridiculous for a rookie, much less one playing on a horrible team.
