Wow - Cowboys not only won, but held them to 10 points!

Garrett will have a job for life now.

I'd love to see the Ravens win against the Falcons while the Steelers lose against the Chargers on SNF. That'd make the AFC North very interesting again.

Combine that with an Oakland upset against the Chiefs and we'd have 4 teams on 9-3 in the AFC if the Texans and Pats do their job this weekend  A bit much too ask for probably.

No way are the Raiders getting anywhere close to the Chiefs... and I'm a Raiders fan! Too many holes on that roster, particularly a lack of rush, and a fairly average secondary. Combined, that is no good against KC.

Only watched full Cowboy games a couple of times this year. Young LBs leapt off the screen both times.

So the Chiefs are done now - with the Kareem Hunt news.

Who was it just a few days back which brought up his past? Timely.

Good for them for cutting this piece of shit. He'll probably be picked up just like Foster was, hope not though.

Who's going to pick him up then?
Washington of course. With him and Peterson in the backfield, no child or woman will ever stand a chance against them. And if something should go wrong, they’ll still have Foster.

Seems to be so much domestic violence around in the NFL. It's really odd.

Good on the Chiefs for cutting him though. I doubt a Premier League football club would react in the same way. As we've seen with Foster though, he'll get picked up in no time.

It’s not odd. It’s logical. That’s part of what CTE does to you. They lose the ability to control impulses.

I know CTE and concussion is a hot topic, but surely can't be responsible for the seemingly constant cases of violence, particularly domestic violence, from young NFL players.

Just watched the video, wasn't that bad was it? All I saw was a push. The worst thing that happened was the friend who got knocked out accidentally.

He also kicked her. And just consider what would have happened had he not been held back.

Why? It’s highly logical. Most of these players will suffer from CTE. The stage will vary, but most will have it. CTE screws up your ability to control impulses. That leads to bad decision making, especially when stressed. What you see in the video is an example for horrible and highly impulsive decision making. It is logical to assume, that CTE might have significantly factored into those events.
I‘m not saying he’s not guilty, to make sure of this. I’m just saying we should seriously consider the possibility, that his brain is not working the way it should. It’s no coincidence that so many football players suffer from CTE and act they way they do. Think about Aaron Hernandez. He’s supposed to have had the worst form of CTE ever discovered in a brain that age.

Fecking cnut. No doubt whatsoever he’ll be playing again next season though.

The Chiefs are weird. They release Hunt for this but still drafted Hill.

Reading between the lines of their statement, it doesn't seem to be for the act itself, moreso that he lied about it.

So much domestic violence? Compared to the general population?

Anyways, he'll get picked up after his 6 game suspension is over.

Hunt will get picked up soon enough. Meanwhile Kaep isn’t being blackballed.

I find it remarkable that an organisation the power of the NFL weren’t able to obtain that tape. If they genuinely investigated the incident when it happened (I’m not sure if they/KC did) then surely they’d have got that footage?!

I mean comparative with other sports. Or do they just hide it better?

Is there a video of Hill?
No, there was never a video in his case. If one came out it would make a difference in how people see him but wouldn't lead to him getting cut, Chiefs knew all about his case when he was drafted.

I disagree tbh. The video makes all the difference. It is naive to think that the Chiefs truly believed Hunt was innocent. Yes he got cut partly because he lied, but also because of the video.

I agree the video played a big part, but I don't think the same would happen if a video of Tyreek's abuse came out now. If it ever does, they can just play the "giving him a second chance, he's changed etc." card, Hunt lying to them and everyone else meant they couldn't here, he'd never admitted guilt.

Hope I'm wrong cos I'd be happy if Hill got kicked out of the league, guy's a piece of shit. Just don't see it unless he gets caught again.

It’s now being reported that the NFL completely fecked up their investigation into the Hunt incident. The “investigation” apparently never involved interviews of Hunt or the woman in the video.

It is either complete incompetence on their part, or a willful coverup attempt.
