NFL Thread 2014-2015

No idea, they've gone into full on "win now" mode, so whilst I'm not sure of the specifics, but I bet their salary cap is close to the limit. I can see him staying another couple of years though. It's not like he is struggling
Yeah, but all it will take is one clean lick and his career is over. His neck could still pose a problem. The Broncos probably want to get someone in soonish in case of the 'nightmare scenario'. I'd imagine, depending on how this season plays out and what they need, they'd take a Connor Cook (thought I don't rate him as highly as others). The closest thing to Andrew Luck, it seems, is Christian Hackenburg, who again, I don't rate as highly as others but he's only a sophomore. But without trading away a bunch of shit, they won't come close to getting him. The next few QB classes are really weak. The likes of Mariotta, Hundley, Cook, Coker, Driskel, etc are nothing special. Certainly, not good enough to replace Manning.

Really looking forward to the Seahawks-Denver game tomorrow. Hopefully the legion of boom do their thing again on Peyton.

Can't wait and I agree.

I absolutely don't understand the scheduling system and why it's NFC v AFC but I'm happy.

Another couple of years? He was thinking of retiring at the end of last season.

Pats doing nothing to improve my mood...

Not often you see an interception working against a team. Leads to a safety and a FG for the Lions

Giants having a good half. Eli with 189 yards passing without an interception. Now thats not something that happens so often.

I feel for the Cowboys. They have a solid team that can make a run in the playoffs. I can't believe they have Romo as their QB. If RGIII returns and Cousins is dropped back to the bench again, then Cowboys could do a lot worse than get Cousins to replace Romo.

San Diego have been impressive the last 2 weeks. Might be dark horses from the AFC.

Pats can't afford slip-ups. Must win...

Edit: as I write this, Chargers give up a TD

Factory of sadness no more ? Squashed the Saints, now Ravens on the brink...

Pats D better do a better job than the United defence did today...

Rams certainly making a game of this.

Interception!!! Pats win :D

Wilfork you big fecker

I think my Redzone died at the same time.

The Washington/Philly game is something special.

Great first play again from Denver against Seattle

What a play! Wilson with the catch.

Never seen that reverse before from Seattle, enjoyable. Good defence from Denver though. And Manning is going..

Sanders has been a very good pickup for Denver.

3-3. Good drive but only the FG.

Can somebody pm Me a steam to the 49ers game preferable p2p so that I can report it to the correct authorities. Thanks

Beautiful catch and throw! Finally a TD.

That's harsh. I thought there was enough time there for it to be ruled a catch then fumble-INT.

Can someone explain to me why that wasn't a fumble? The receiver made the move to go forward, as I understand it that's a fumble no?

That's what I thought he did, but they thought there wasn't enough time for him to have established possession.

Great drive! Seattle ending the half strongly.
