NFL Thread 2014-2015

Gates with a beautiful catch. Chargers have been very impressive.

Packers take the lead! Nice turnaround.

It's raining flags

Rodgers

I didn't think the Jets would be able to keep up the pressure, and they didn't!

San Diego with a really impressive win. The D on the final drive was very good, but their offense was impressive. Turns out Seattle aren't invincible.

Alex smith is useless.

Edit: play overturned. Maybe he's not completely useless :wenger:

Denver need to learn the offside rule!

Denver hold on for the win. Useless offense from Kansas.

Best timeout ever.

Rodgers to Nelson is a thing of beauty.

That was a good no interception tbh. Gives Packers a better spot to have the ball and try run the clock down.

And Jets will lose.... Great timeout call

Wow Tampa lose on a run-off!! So unlucky.

Seems it was wrong to be called given the explanation, but feck it, so many uncalled flags especially the late tackle on Nelson today. haha. Always good to get the first victory of the season.

Those late games were superb. Really enjoyed RedZone.

Now for Niners & Bears, should be a good one too...

I knew he was going to throw picks the moment he decided it was good throwing on the scramble.

Niners self-implosion is nothing short of hilarious. Controversial I know, but Kaep is extremely overrated.

Kap (it's Kap, not Kaep) had a bad game but the penalties were equally costly in my opinion. Very disappointing - especially given that the Seahawks lost so we had the chance to take a march on them.

As for being extremely overrated, I disagree. No one is putting him up there with Rodgers etc as a passer, but overall since he won the starting job, I have been extremely impressed. He still has things he needs to work on and improve for sure, but taking your team to the Superbowl and 2 NFC title games in your first 3 seasons isn't too shabby.

His name is Kaepernick and Kap is not his nickname so I don't understand why you feel the need to spell correct here.

Minor detail I know, but although his name is Kaepernick, his nickname is written as Kap.

Not trying to be pedantic (although I know it looks like that!!) - I only mentioned it because I remembered he addressed this last season. I used to assume it was Kaep too.:

So not trying to be a jerk, just sharing.

Watching Rodgers last night was a amazing, helped by the fact that Nelson seems to just catch anything in his general vicinity. That 95 yard drive with just less than 2 minutes on the clock was brilliant.
