NFL Thread 2014-2015

Minor detail I know, but although his name is Kaepernick, his nickname is written as Kap.

Not trying to be pedantic (although I know it looks like that!!) - I only mentioned it because I remembered he addressed this last season. I used to assume it was Kaep too.:

So not trying to be a jerk, just sharing.

That's new to me, I always thought his nickname was Kryptonite after he beat the panthers.

Peterson has been accused of abusing another son. He's going to get a really long suspension if these allegations are proven, as well as criminal prosecution.

Philly really do like the no-huddle!!

Eagles v Denver would be fun to watch.

Vikings organization is a fecking joke. Chris Kluwe was a distraction but an child abuser isn't? Their comments today were laughable as was Peterson's lawyer written statement.

Great drive from Indy. Luck is a joy to watch when on form.

Edit: I don't know how Americans can tolerate all these fecking ads. Hate Eurosport

Its much better watching ads than fecking Sky Sports reading all those pointless tweets after every fecking play.

WOW! I honestly thought AP would be the last person on the planet who would be accused of abusing a child. Seems so modest and down to earth and a hard worker like Falcao or Mata but just goes to show you again and again - don't judge a book by its cover.

Maybe they're less repetitive than Eurosport's. What a fun game that was, though I fell asleep by half time.

I'm really starting to like this game. Spent loads of time on youtube getting 'education', watching top plays and Rodgers in particular!

Too bad it is live around noon. Getting drinking permission from the missus that early is going to be tough!!! Need to catch it in a pub.

Im down to watch it on Sundays in a pub. NFL is anything but a boring game. Baseball, now that is a fecking boring game.

Those unstoppable Seahawks aye?

I would still put money on them retaining (in fact, I have). Seattle haven't lost by more than a score since like 2012, and usually have these early season struggles for whatever reason. Have a feeling Denver are going to beat them this week, so if you're looking for good odds on them, next Monday will be good.

I wouldn't bet against them doing it but it's annoying when people start crowning a team at the start of the season. And in fairness it happens almost every season with people thinking one team are a dead cert, doesn't always go as expected.

Plus, we all know the Steelers are bringing it home this season
I can dream.

This is probably how Forest felt when United beat them 9-1 years ago. Obliterated.

Just my fantasy luck, of all games to miss, Roddy White has to miss this one. I picked Douglas off of the waiver bench and he went off after the first half. Shite luck.

If I played wide receiver for Atlanta today I might score a touchdown. Its like a whole secondary went on strike today.

Apparently Seattle-Denver isn't a nationally televised game in the States on Sunday? How does it work over there? That's like City-Chelsea not being on TV this weekend, no?

I know it'll still be broadcast locally but why wouldn't it be nationally televised?

Yes it is.
