NFL Thread 2014-2015

Heart says Pats will win, but I think the Seattle D is too strong and will cause issues all day long for us. I fear we won't establish a running game and as such Brady will have to do too much to win. Hopefully, I'm wrong.

My prediction: Pats 21 - 27 Seattle.
 
Should be renamed to the LFN thread given the commentary in the Southampton/Swansea game.

I think Pats will win by 6 points.
 
As a Dolphins fan I actually dislike both the teams in the Super Bowl so I just want a good game either way.
 
So excited for this! I think that we (the Hawks) have a good chance to win but the Patriots are a good team so we are going to have to be at our best. If the Pats get the running game going we could be in trouble and Brady is always a worry, the guy is a winner through and through. Should be a really good game between two really well balanced teams.

I am so fooking excited.

I love the Superbowl no matter who is in it but when it is your own team it is hard to contain yourself.
 
The fun part of the Patriots winning would be the reactions from many of the people who went way overboard in their reactions to the deflation incident in the AFC Championship game. Watching some, especially my two nephews, lose it would be hilarious.
 
Any other Giants fans rooting for the Patriots to win, so when they win we can say we technically won the Superbowl ? no? okay :(

Sounds simple enough but with the option having been so effective for us that will be fairly tough. Wilson has the 16th most rushing yards in the NFL this season, if they try to focus too much on Lynch, Wilson will make them pay :lol:

First day back at Uni or the SuperBowl.

So conflicted. Typical Monday is by far my busiest day and my earliest start.
 
Never commented in this thread. Been a Pats fan since I was 9 years old when they beat the Rams in 2001 (my location on my profile is a bit of a giveaway for my fandom). Very excited for tonight, have a feeling this one will be a classic.

I've been forced to root for the fecking Pats due to Seattles antics after their fluke win against the Packers.

Oh if Chancellor's injured that will be huge! Thomas banged up, Sherman too. Unless the Seahawks are feigning all of them.

Hopefully Sherman's wife now has the baby too and he fecks off to the hospital...
 
My first Super Bowl. I'm very excited, rooting for the Hawks unlike most on here it seems.

He avoided the question earlier in the week, basically saying 'I'll see if that happens'. Plus twitter informs me the baby isn't due yet!

I'd be shocked if he did leave though, but I hope he gets to make the decision himself if it comes up.
 
Is it just me or does 'Superbowl XLIX' make it sound like the big game has a laxative product as a sponsor or something?

Anyway, should be a great game. I'm thinking the Pats will win but it'll be close. Don't really care who wins as long as it's a good one.
