NFL Thread 2013-14

Cecil is more like a colour commentator in wrestling, something that's not really needed in football. I like the guy but he doesn't bring anything to the table besides hype, which is pointless as they're between plays, not during them.

fecking hell Ben!

Game over. Bears D has sealed it.

That said, the Niners offense has been extremely poor. Back to back poor performances from them, first time Harbaugh has lost back to back regular season games.

Was bad enough last week having Crabtree and Manningham out. Add Davis to the list and we really are looking threadbare and unthreatening from a receiving perspective. I don't think we have anyone who teams need to double team, so that frees up a player to spy on Kaepernick and the rest of the defense can concentrate on the run.

Getting Crabtree back and having Davis healthy will be a big step in the right direction - I just wonder if our record will be good enough by the time they are both back.

feck!

Now the fecking Browns playing super fakes to give Cameron another TD. Another reason to hate the cnuting Browns.

Jordan Cameron and Brian Hoyer might give me a reason to watch the Browns.

Highlights only though, I'm not that stupid.

What a fecking shit weekend. United tank, Vikings lose to a team that is starting its third string QB and just traded their top offensive weapon.

Playcalling is utter crap. Musgrave has to go. D didn't get any pressure on Hoyer until the second half (when they started blitzing - which the Vikings never usually do). Secondary got shredded. 2 minute defense is useless. Offensive line is a mess. Special teams gets burned on two (two!!!!!) fakes. We get 4 takeaways and we still lose. feck! I actually had some expectations after last year. This will learn me. Utterly useless. ¤#"¤"/%"#¤/(¤/("#¤/!"#

Going by NFL's site, shit.

Hate it when that happens.

Also, Brady calling up Lloyd and Branch, desperation.....

As far as I know, it was Ian Rapoport who reported that.

I'd take anything he writes with a pinch of salt. Actually, make that a handful.

He's a fecking hack.

If you're talking about this game then it's C4 and there's only 2 guys and most people in the UK will agree that Carlson is brilliant

If you're referring to the earlier games then that's Sky Sports. Sky's analysts are shit but I'd rather listen to them than have adverts every minute, as they do on the MNF game.

Didn't realise C4 had NFL too? What days/games are usually on it?

They only regularly show the Sunday night game. This year they'll also be showing the Wembley games.

Was out last night, so couldn't watch the Giants game.

But just checking the score today, I can safely say I am happy I didn't. It was a truly awful weekend for the teams I support, 0-3 isn't looking good already. Playing the Chiefs next week should see us winning it, bad if we don't.

Indianapolis offence looked good yesterday. With Bradshaw and Richardson there, they have two tough backs and seem to have stopped putting the entire offense on Luck's shoulders. For his part, he played an extremely efficient game despite not picking up massive stats.

Can anyone who watched the Giants game last night please explain to me how they managed to give up such a large scoreline without putting any points on the board?

Damn, have to be up, showered and out the house by 7.30 in the morning :/ all nighter is lookin likely. Want to see the broncos smash te raiders.

Brilliant drive. Going to be a long night for the Oakland D.

Ugh, fecking Eurosport and their fecking adverts.

I think they might be alright later in the season, they just all need confidence and to be sure of all their plays. That none catch there was a rookie mistake :/

Pryor looks like he has a strong arm. Too bad the receiver dropped that.

I always fancied moving to America one day... But with all these adverts, no chance. How can anyone in America enjoy tv at all? :/

Broncos are fun to watch, love how manning shouts "tackle him" then half the offensive line point and hour aswell

Welker!!

Denver have so many options on offense. Great drive.
