NFL Thread 2013-14

Brilliant snap

Philly doing their best to give Kansas as many chances to get a lead. 3 TOs in 1 quarter.

Stark difference between these 2 offenses: Philly with their no-huddle, up-tempo, look for the big gain and run option plays whilst Kansas are a slower, methodical team with the calm Alex Smith at QB who is happy to keep the chains moving.

Philly are doing well to get pressure on Smith. If they cutout the turnovers, they should win this.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *deep breath* boooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Another turnover.

Michael Clayton on Sky is a billion times better than that clown Cecil Martin. Bet he won't make it past tonight, too much analysis and knowledge for Sky's liking.

D-Jax is the star of my fantasy team in the first two weeks. Which is another way to say that I'm totally screwed if he underperforms, like right now.

Scrappy half. Philly with too many turnovers, Kansas failing to take advantage of them to build a bigger lead.

If Shady has an injury which will lead to missed games, that's a massive blow to the Eagles and how this offense is going to be run.

I ended up going under 50 points just before KO, if I cash out now I'd make a small profit, but don't know wether to just let it ride :/

Kelly's offense at Oregon was well known for bringing in backups that did just as well as the starters. We'll see if he can repeat that here, but Bryce Brown certainly is one of the more talented backups in the league.

Someone needs to teach this guy how to snap the ball

Guess who's back? Back again. Shady's back.... I'll get my coat.

Edit: fortunate that's not another turnover. Philly really need to do a better job, this has been very poor so far.

Awful, awful throw.

Saved by the penalty flag. Philly are very lucky to only be 10 points down.

Wait, they're using signals (like baseball) and not calling plays with the mics?? Don't think I've seen that before in the NFL.

Philly's D is keeping them in this game. If the offense bothers to wake up, they'll win this.

Never mind, was the NFL website going crazy, on there it looked like Philly went for it on 4th and lost it at their 20yard line or thereabouts, then it changed to 3rd and 52 for them.

I let my bet play btw... Just hoping this 4th quarter doesn't produce 25 or more points. I reckon chiefs fg, eagles TD, and then an eagles fg and then chiefs to run the clock out

The way the Eagles have played on offense, that TD may have sealed the win for Kansas.

Well they're not going to tie as I predicted a moment ago  didn't even realise that's what I predicted till checked the scores again.

Doubt the eagles will get anything from this now

Well well well chiefs just got a TD, so your margin of error is down by some, but you're still pretty sage 18 points for the remainder of the quarter? Like 3 TDs? I don't think so.

Yeah I can't see 3 more tds in this if I'm honest... I think we will be lucky to see 2 more. Just be a lot of running time down for the chiefs I think, and eagles rushing and making more errors

feck  how the hell did that happen? :p a nice long drive from the chiefs and a fg from them would be nice here :/

Think the couple might be more suited for Old Trafford :P
But seriously, this is just one of the funniest things ive read, for all the wrong reasons.

They also want the NFL to implement a new rule to allow the visiting team to stop a game if the noise surpasses a certain decibel level. If the rule is violated in more than three games, the “offending” team would lose all its home games for the remainder of the season and playoffs.

fecking idiots

Christ, imagine these fans attending a European football match.

"Will they please stop chanting!"

"Security, can you please have them tone down the signing? I can't conentrate."
