NFL Thread 2013-14

Really?! That Welker decision looks worse and worse by the day.
Welker was never going to stay. Constant whining about how Belichick shouted at him when he dropped important passes and he shouldn't be shouted at as an important player.

"Did he shout at Brady?" "Oh yeah, all the time."

Also, don't want to be shouted at, how about DON'T DROP THE feckING BALL AND END PLAYOFF AND SUPERBOWL HOPES ON SIMPLE PASSES YOU CRISP PACKET HANDS cnut!

I dunno why they didn't bring Lloyd back though, sure he doesn't get many YAC, but who gives a feck if he keeps catching for first downs and TD's.

Heard he's a "locker room cancer", but don't remember any noise or controversy while he was in the team.

feck!

Now the fecking Browns playing super fakes to give Cameron another TD. Another reason to hate the cnuting Browns.

Without sounding like a dick, can we not do the Welker revisionism thing.

He’s one of the toughest and most consistent players I’ve ever seen and now a Bronco.

Brady trusting the rookie wide receivers now, he will be able to make them better for sure. Bucks started well in the 1st but since then it has all been the Pats. Jackson injured too so now Freeman can't find anyone to throw to, 45% of his passes went to Jackson today.

Brady rushed for 8 yards too, got the hang of that dual threat thing all the kids be at.

NE offence looks completely different to the one that took to the field. Flowing so good and they are doing it without Gronk and Amendola too.

Pats win has slightly improved what has been a truly shit day.

Jordan Cameron and Brian Hoyer might give me a reason to watch the Browns.

Highlights only though, I'm not that stupid.

Brilliant comeback win from the Bengals.

This Jacksonville offence is shocking. I'm actually considering not finishing the rest of this game to watch MOTD - the outcome is that certain.

The Jags can't do any worse if they had Tebow at QB. Hell, they'd probably do better if they had the Michael Jackson statue at QB!

Really impressive performance from the Colts. Luck is my favorite 'new' QB, so calm and composed for someone in only his second season.

That said, the Niners offense has been extremely poor. Back to back poor performances from them, first time Harbaugh has lost back to back regular season games.

What a crappy weekend for me sports-wise.

United lose, Hamilton fecks up in Singapore, the 49ers shit themselves again and Haxuna Matata only manage a point out of two games.

The Steelers suck. This game is all but over.

Nice catch. Made the most of the stupid penalty running into the punter.

Need to make a stop now...

The Wembley game will either be a fun, competitive, close game or it will be utter shit. Both teams are poor but they'll hopefully cancel each other out with their combined shitness and produce a fun game.

Wow!!! That's an incredible catch. Brilliant.

Good quarter, some nice gains & 1 awesome catch.

Stupid Steelers making a game of this, was hoping I could sleep by now.

Who is telecasting in England? SkySports? Who ever it is is so fecking annoying. I mean every single chance they get they go back to the studio and start talking. Shut the feck up already. I would rather watch an ad than listen to those two to three cnuts talk all the time.

If you're talking about this game then it's C4 and there's only 2 guys and most people in the UK will agree that Carlson is brilliant

If you're referring to the earlier games then that's Sky Sports. Sky's analysts are shit but I'd rather listen to them than have adverts every minute, as they do on the MNF game.

If they didn't go back to the studio, it would be ads every few minutes.

I don't actually think the Sky analysts are bad, tbh quite enjoy them, but Carlson is a series of level above them.

I liked the guy they had the last 2 nights (think it was Michael Clayton) but usually Sky don't give any analysis beyond stating the obvious, which even I could do. Most the time they're just joking around and acting like buffoons. Carlson provides entertainment but also discusses actual football and makes comments which are not literally stating the obvious.

Heh, fair enough, it's more like a chat show than proper analysis. Reynolds is probably the best of the regulars, there was one fantastic moment last season, someone e-mailed, texted or something some disagreement with them and he tore their argument to pieces, can't remember what it was specifically though. Might have been a Jets or Eagles fan.

Reynolds is good, definitely the best on Sky. But unfortunately, imo, he doesn't get to speak as much as he should and they spend too much time giving Cecil a chance to open his mouth and say nothing useful.

Another good catch. I think that's a TD.

Good call and review.

2 superb catches this game.
