Early contender for latest hit of the season

People in the comments section saying that back in the day if the QB faked having the ball you were allowed to "sack" him.

For some frigging irritating reason, I cannot associate you with the Saints even though we've posted with each other about games, etc.

We need a full favorite team roster that just stays as a permanent header in a spoiler no matter what page of this thread we are on.

It's the only way that those in obvious cerebral decline like myself will be able to know who supports which team.

I know what you mean to be fair. I always forget who the Pats, Niners etc fans are in here. I know there are loads of them.

One question I have for you is I noticed Taysom (sp?) lead y'all in rushing yesterday. Was that out of a typical RB position or was it more jets, sweeps, etc.?

He was lined up everywhere but most of his rushing yards came from QB position. Jamaal Williams left the game with a hammy so it was just Jones Jr and then Hill as the makeshift RB for the second half.

Too early to really rank all teams after just two games but in all honesty I'll be shocked if 49rs don't win the Superbowl this time round.

They just look too have no weaknesses at all and are head and shoulders above anyone else, barring injuries they should win it.

As to who they would face i would love to see the dolphins get there but i think Chiefs, Bengals and Bills will improve a lot too

I hear you but I think the nature of power rankings is just the teams get ranked from week to week based on how they performed the previous week. It's not a judgement on the overall quality of each team, just how good they were in the most recent game. At least that's how I understand them.

I'm going to compile a list sometime this week. Will ask @Raoul if we can put it in the first post.

Switched myself from Texans fan to "none" though, for full disclosure  I do however have a soft spot for the Saints these days.

Must have been before I was really posting in here. Tbf trading Winston & getting Brady did jump starty posting in here.

Desperate mother feckers, though they’d suck me back in if they had the download feature, which should be a basic feature of any streaming service worth its title in todays day and age.

Oof.

Williams has resigned as DC in the meantime as well.

Funny that the Bears defensive coordinator resigned. The head coach, OC and DC should have all been sacked during or after last season. Easily the worst football team I had the pleasure of watching last year.

Some serious allegations swirling on twitter regarding Alan Williams.
Yeah wasn't sure on what we are able to mention on here, but:

Not sure what to believe, guess we'll find out soon enough though. If any of the allegations turn out to be true than the "health concerns" statement is one of the stupidest things I've read in a while.

I hardly think the FBI, US authorities or lawyers for Williams will go looking at a Manchester United forum just in case someone says something that prejudices a case or something libelous.

I meant Caf guidelines obviously

From an ESPN reporter covering the Bears:

Gotta feel for the team who are playing away at the Bears on Sunday with the crowd and players all riled up after what's gone on this week. Anyone know who's the unlucky team?

Got the same mail and I am just pissed that it is geo locked and doesn’t let you use it if you travel. Surely for £150 a year that should be allowed

At 1am on Sunday I was thinking “ugh, when are United playing Bayern”. Now I’m thinking “how long till Sunday”. Supporting two dire teams is exhausting.

Rodgers and Chubb were both in my fantasy team :(

Don't give up hope. I don't play fantasy these days but back in 1999 I lost Jerry Rice and Steve Young early on and still won the office championship. I got fortunate Steve Beuerlein of all people went stat crazy late in the season, plus some others I can't recall, and carried me through a couple league fantasy playoff games.

Never heard that but perhaps so. But I've often found it stupid that a runner can be tackled without penalty when a defender assumed he had the ball but it draws a flag when the QB must be protected at all costs. The game moves so fast sometimes it just seems ludicrous to flag stuff, even the Goff situation.

Bryce Young is 42-71 for 299 yards so far. That's barely 4.2 yards per attempt and 7.1 yards per completion.

What kind of passing offense are they employing there? Nothing but screens and hooks inside five yards?

I posted that yesterday. They must be running some scaled down scheme to aid him for whatever reason(s).

I'm 0-2 so far. Fingers crossed but early signs not looking good.
