NFL 2023

Horrible deal by the Jets as usual, signing a RB to such a hefty deal just to spell Hall at times.

Also the Niners need to trade Lance and they need to do it quickly before they ruin his entire career (and want to get something in return).

Agreed, Lance needs snaps and patience if he is ever going to amount to anything.

Jets going to Jets, they're going to be a mess when ArseRod quits at the end of the season.

Not to mention what a steep decline we saw in Cook last year. At least it's only a 1 year deal.

Got the Jags and the Ravens in his first 3 weeks. Could have been worse but it's still not the ideal start for him when you consider most thought he'd sit for a bit this year.

Who thought that? I’ve seen no one suggesting Minshew would/should start. He was always gonna start being drafted that high, with his limited college gametime, and developmental curve. The Colts probably know that this is a year in which he needs to learn and they need to check out whether he can take the next step.

That’s fecked. He says he signed the documents thinking it was adoption papers and that it would make him an official part of the family. He found out in 2023 that it was conservatory documents he has signed and he was never adopted by the family. He thought he was their legal son for two fecking decades. Meanwhile they pocketed tens of millions off his name. It actually made me very angry reading this.

Should be prison sentence worthy.

Aye, if it’s true what he’s claiming then it’s absolutely vile.

I understand the family have come out and said they explained to him at the time that they couldn’t adopt him as he was over 18, and the lawyers explained to him and his biological mother that the conservatorship was a legal equivalent and achieved what was needed for him to go to college. I’ve obviously no idea what the legal requirements were, but that’s what they’ve said.

They also claim to have made no money from the movie, and only modest amounts from the book which they say was split equally between the family including Michael. Why the other kids got a share I’ve no clue!

This does a pretty good job of laying out the claims, obviously no idea where the truth lies but it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if the movie was an extremely sentimentalised and whitewashed version of history, as much as I enjoyed it.

The Blind Side is one of my favourite films, it would be really sad and upsetting if it really turned out that there was actually more behind the help the family gave than just overall good will.

On a side note, those cockiola’s at DAZN trying to sell me the season pass for £26 less. Give me my features back you poo eaters and then I might consider.

Also looks like I’ll be able to go to the Pats Dolphins game prime time week 2, Woop! Very excited! Anyone have any experience of getting to Gillette? I’m thinking the patriots train?

Why do you dislike him so much
Don’t dislike him, saw him play against us & he wasn’t very good. That doesn’t translate well into the pros. Combine measure-ables are one thing, succeeding in the NFL is not all about that.

“Wandering in traffic”

Graham had a few head injuries I believe during his playing time? Or am I recalling wrong? I hope it isn’t anything CTE related.

I'm all in on the Justyn Ross hype. If he gets a shot and can stay fit I think he will be incredible for us.

Is it true that DAZN gamepass is also replacing ad breaks with a 'commercial break in progress' screensaver? They do that on the NHL and MLB equivalents, and it's way worse than just getting to watch the ads. Besides, I do like all those fast food ads, and those medicine ads with all the fatal side effects read aloud are pretty wild.

I guess we'll never find out who drew that moustache on Patrick Mahomes :(

Also, just saw that they put Game Pass on sale just a couple of weeks after all the OG Game Pass subs auto-renewed at full price. Brutal.

That sucks. My favourites were all those old folks stuck in the bath/shower after having a fall. If only they had their OAP alarm.

Just over 2 weeks left.

I usually have point during the summer where my brain switches from NBA mode to NFL mode. Usually when the summer league ends.
