NFL 2023

I think you’re really gonna like Charbonnet. As a UCLA season ticket holder, I’ve seen him play a lot and he’s a stud. Durable, runs hard, not quite as explosive as Kenneth Walker, but definitely capable of big chunk plays. For the Seahawks, durability is what’s been lacking from your RBs
Hope so, especially on that last point.

Bit nonplussed with the Niners drafting there. The safety looks good , but the kicker is a reach and there were better TEs out there.

Wonder if this means there'll be a Vet signing on the offensive line.

I don’t love any of the landing spots on day 2 for the RBs in fantasy man

The worst thing about drafting a kicker there is that I feel that we have no real evidence to suggest that good college kicking translates to good NFL kicking

@RobinLFC what do you make of bijan to the falcons? makes it easier or complicates it further in terms of drafting him at 1.01?
He was, is and always will be the 1.01. The Falcons were 31st in pass rate over expected last year and had a 4th round rookie RB with more than 1k yards. Bijan will eat from day 1.

The Eagles and Steelers seem to have done very good this draft. Surprised Ringo and To'o To'o are still on the board.

Had no idea the 4th round is going on now. Thought it was midnight again.

What’s that now, five Georgia defensive players? Four?

Surprised they didn't go for Darnell Washington as well. This is the sort of draft a poor team with loads of picks usually has, not a Super Bowl team. It will be scary watching them next year.

We just traded up 16 spots to grab a guy projected to go in the 6th round at a position (safety) we don't need. Head scratcher for sure. I guess we believe Chamarri Conner has more than what the scouts saw.

Stop complaining. The Vikings seemingly hate everyone in this draft and refuse to pick anyone.

Swift to Eagles - another Georgia guy

It's not what happened. It's Ozzie Newsome that didn't call the NFL office and he didn't notify it to the Vikings in time.
Never knew the backstory. I stand corrected.

TIL that Newsome said that he called the NFL but couldn’t reach the necessary league official to consummate the deal. Sounds akin to the DDG saga.

Yeah he says that he tried or at least that's what he said to Brzezinski. The story is kind of strange Newsome says that he tried but couldn't reach the NFL office and it's rumoured that the Jags(?) were the ones calling the office in order to mess with the Vikings and Ravens trade. In the end the Vikings got Williams anyway.

Patriots haven't drafted any offensive weapons yet. Bill okay?

Didn't realise the Rams got Stetson Bennett in round 4. Potentially a great pick.

Anybody else watching? Bucs have had a sneaky good draft!
Wasn't planning on a trade nor planning on a TE being drafted, but we have addressed some crucial areas in OL, DL, & LB. Wouldn't mind seeing a DB / S taken with one of the later rounds.

Anyone you got your eye on?
Nah, I am nowhere as erudite on players as some of the cats in here, I just hope we cover positional needs with the picks. And we have done so thus far.

At least we aren’t trading up to round two to draft a kicker anymore.

No the Niners went to the 3rd for theirs so your mistake might become forgotten after that

I'm pretty sure that one of the grades for the Vikings draft will be Z- or something close to that. It's the saddest draft class of all time.
