Wasn't in the last 5mins
If you're being ultra pedantic you could say it wasn't but the clock then took it to below the 5min mark. But thanks for your helpful contribution to this discussion mate!

I just told you the rule why, the thing that you were wondering about, happened. Bizarre reaction to it. It should not have stopped at 5:00 either. Had it happened at 4:59, then it would restarted at the snap

Is that “pedantry” or is it just literally the rules? It wasn’t the last 5 minutes when he went out of bounds

Usually you can console yourself that a loss means a better draft position but even that isn’t on the cards for Denver this year. Painful stuff.

I might need to look into the rules. I apologise and thought you were being somewhat rude and my reply was in the same vein.

No worries. I think the rule is for the last 2mins of the 1st half and last 5mins of the 2nd.

It's one of those where I've only really paid close attention to the clock when it's at the death. Didn't know it was the case for the other 53 minutes in a game which is quite embarrassing considering how much I watch this sport now.

Don’t worry, I had no clue either. I was living vicariously through you these past few minutes.

Don't kmow how you Brits, etc. do it, staying up to all hous to watch the later NFL games. I'm struggling just to get to the kickoff of the Bucs game.

Bravo to all y'all.

Working nights kind of helps this weekend, watching at work.

I have a PS2 in my old room in my parents house. If I go home for a few days I often dust it off and play some old games. I have rugby 2004 and since there’s no challenge to it 18 years later what I do is pick on of the worst teams (usually Canada or Namibia) and play someone like New Zealand or England. It is basically impossible for my players to take the ball into contact and keep possession or turn it over in a ruck myself, so my tactic is constantly timing tackles so they lose ground, try and force offside or knock ons, and anytime I get a set piece I kick it, unless inside their 22 in which case sometimes I try to get it wide to go for a try though usually a drop goal attempt. Anyway this game reminds me of that

This is an all timer in terms of bad performances for Brady. Everything seems off with this offence
