Is that really true? It would seem baffling to me if that’s true? Having said that you don’t really see head coaches contracted to one team moving to another team unless they’ve been sacked or something. Which may be explained partly by a rule like this.

I thought the league stopped permitting lateral moves with an extra title attached. Moore could go if his contract is up but Denver cannot hire him for the same role if contracted to Dallas, has to be a promotion.

That seems like highly questionable legal ground.

Actually the rule changed when it comes to coordinators and assistant coaches(that do not participate to the elaboration of gameplans). The latter cannot be prevented from interviewing for bona fide coordinator positions.

Yeah, they can’t deny a promotion. Lateral moves are possible but require permission to interview.

The once feared Bucs run D is dead last in explosive run rate allowed while the Philly offense is second in explosive runs generated. Game on

Hoping for a Kaepernick in GB-like performance from Hurts. They will get killed though I suspect.

Rooting hard for the Eagles on Sunday, because Brady at the superbowl is boring now, and the missus is an Eagles fan. If they win, they play against my team, the Packers, next week. Spicy!

They would play the winner of the Cowboys / Niners next week, wouldn’t meet the Packers til the conference championship.

Nah Eagles are #7, if they advance they can only play the Packers as lowest remaining seed in the NFC.

Panthers apparently open to trade offers for CMC, given his injury problems. Would be expensive but if he can stay healthy he’s a beast of a dual threat.

"The Broncos are looking at Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson. I think there's a 'Big Four'. Those two, with Rodgers being head-and-shoulders Plan A, Wilson Plan B, [Jimmy] Garoppolo and [Kirk] Cousins in that next group, also," Klis told fill-in hosts James Merilatt and Mat Smith. "I guess the reason why you'd sell yourself on Garoppolo and Cousins is they're still a step up from what you've got but you wouldn't have to give up all your assets to get him."

“Head and shoulders plan A” - dare to believe.

Please gods of Football make plan C(ousins) happen.

Got to say Cousins looks the most likely of those at this point. Rodgers tantrum from last year seems to have subsided and his recent comments indicate he knows he has a good thing going where he is, Wilson has also made comments about sticking around and unless Seattle suddenly decide to blow it up he is probably not moving. Garoppolo is the most affordable but quite erratic and not really an upgrade. The Vikings are in rebuild mode with their house clearing and I am fairly sure they would love to get out of the last year of Cousin's contract which means they may well trade him for relatively minimal compensation.

Playoff football is just around the corner people!

So there is a much quoted maxim which posits that you can’t win the Super Bowl without a top 10 scoring defense. It’s not entirely true: there are a few exceptions.

However, if the metric holds, the Super Bowl champion will be one of these seven teams:

Buffalo Bills
New England Patriots
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tennessee Titans
Dallas Cowboys
Kansas City Chiefs
San Francisco 49ers

This is my fear - plans C & D. I'd sooner take a rookie like Pickett or Strong rather than stringing this roster along through the mediocrity of QB purgatory with one of those cats.

For Cousins, we demand a 2022 second round pick and Rado_N.

Stephen A Smith is that you?

I agree but don’t worry, we’re hiring Hackett and trading for Rodgers. Believe.

I’m going with Raiders, Bills, Bucs, Cowboys, Chiefs & Rams to win their games.

You’re trading for Joe Hart?

The Vikings have requested interviews for pretty much all the coordinators in the league.

What the hell are we going to enjoy on the weekends once the NFL is over? There’s no way I’m putting all my eggs in the United basket.

The Super Rugby season is going to start soon, you can also follow the NBA and NHL. If you pick teams wisely, you won't need United in your life.

Ok playoff predictions
Bengals
Bills
Cowboys
Bucaneers
Chiefs
Rams
