Never liked the NBA. Ice hockey always looks exciting so might have to get emotionally invested.

Do you like Rugby? If so then the season is barely starting, SE competitions will start soon and the serious part of the season is going to start in the NE too, including the 6 Nations.
 
On topic. I'm strangely attracted to Kellen Moore as a HC candidate for the Vikings, I don't really know why though. Byron Leftwich is also intriguing but the Jaguars are seemingly close to get him.

Yeah I do to be fair. Only ever religiously watched internationals on tv but that might need to change. Became a creature of habit and generally ignore the infinite amount of sports tv available to me. Crazy really.

I’d take Leftwich in Denver but if one had to guess he seems destined for Jax.

I am wary of the really young ‘next big thing hotshot OC‘ for personal reasons, so I don’t know what to think of Moore.

I'm generally skeptical of that profile and even unfair but in his case has been calling plays and has been the Cowboys OC for three seasons, so while he is young he has one of the things that I value the most. I have seen what poor play calling does with the Vikings and I feel that it's easier to find a very good defensive coordinator than it is to find a very good offensive play caller.

I do like Moore but you do wonder how much of his high rating is from an unconscious bias, vs genuine hype. Not for one second saying he isn’t good, I think he is and has potential. But firstly he’s so young so relative inexperience even if a hot shot counts against him. And also, there are times when that Cowboys offence looks bang average. There is a lot of talent there but I also didn’t see adjustments which made me think ok, this guy is ahead of the curve.
 
I barely watch NFL on Sky Sports as I'm just watching streams of the US network. feck me these 3 guys are wooden. Give me Osi and Jason Bell over these boomers any day.

Haven't they been like the surprise package this season? Like I remember before the season started how everyone was saying the Browns & Ravens were going to be the two best teams in the AFC North and run away with it and here we are with neither of those two in the playoffs.
 
Mixon is a good football player, but I’ll never get the clip of him punching that woman square in the face out of my mind.

I think a lot of people expected their offence to be good. A lot of people rated Burrows. People questioned their D though. I think both units have overperformed expectations. With Burrow showing his quality and that connection with Chase, then add Mixon and Boyd etc. they’re going to be a force.

At the same time, the Ravens have been decimated by injuries - without them they’d have competed for the North for sure.

The Browns by all accounts underperformed. People thought more of Mayfield. But he’s been bust This year.
