Dislike Jones, like Tyrod as a streamer.

I like Hunt and the upside of Edmonds/Pollard if their starters go down, McKinnon is a wildcard at this point.

I'd have taken JuJu, Ridley or Beckham over Moore but I just don't like him. Diontae Johnson will be great.

Jared Cook sucks, Jonnu Smith will be your starter and he'll finish as a top-10 TE.

I'd hate to draft first in a 14-team league.
I would taken the WR you mentioned above Amari not above DJ. He had close to a 100 receptions last year. I know they added Robby but his targets should still be there. Curtis Samuel will be affected. Bridgewater will be playing it safe first few weeks and DJ is going to be benefit from that.

I just don't think they'll put up a lot of points this year so I'd rather have the WRs I mentioned. One thing going for DJ Moore is that the Panters D is so atrocious that they'll have to throw the ball a lot.

JuJu will (or should) also have 100+ receptions with Big Ben back and he plays in a better offense. Both Pittsburgh and Atlanta are a good bet to throw the ball over 600 times this season - the Falcons never replaced Sanu and Hooper is gone too. Ridley's per-game stats without Sanu are pretty ridiculous - he saw 49 targets in 6 games without him which amounts to 131 over an entire season, and he was already on a +1.000 yards, 8 TD pace last season before getting hurt. I'm extremely high on Ridley and think he'll finish as a borderline top-10 receiver this season.

Beckahm is still Beckham and one down year doesn't change that for me. While the weekly floor might not be there like with DJ Moore, he has the potential to be the WR1 if the offense in Cleveland clicks under Stefanski.

It comes down to my dislike for DJ Moore rather than it being not a good pick though  I think him and Golladay are way too high in ADP.

I think Jones will do alright because of his adding running value. My plan was to stack Cowboys but I got sniped on Prescott and Jarwin. Then I was going to pair Jones with Garappolo but barely missed him instead. Picking 1st in a 14 team draft was annoying. So many times I'm 20+ picks away and watching helplessly as all my targets come off the board.

Nuk gets paid. 2-year, $55m contract with +$40m in guarantees. Highest non-QB contract in NFL history.

Is that for him to stay for 5 years?

On top of his current 3 year deal? Or is that scrapped and just on a 2 year deal?

Yeah it’s an extension so ties him up for 5 years, apologies - that wasn’t very clear.

No problem mate - he negotiated the deal himself too right? So he’s getting PAID.

Channel 5 will show MNF live from this season

Did Sky lose the rights? Interesting as they’ve dedicated an entire channel to NFL yet might potentially show fewer live games than they did before!

When they launched the channel they advertised it with having the MNF. Weird.

Maybe its just like when BBC share the super bowl rights. I guess the NFL wants to further reach fans who may not have Sky.

I’d love to know how many people actually watch the MNF games live in the UK.

I used to back when I was at Uni & could stay up that late on a Monday night! Don’t think I’ve watched much MNF since Sky have had the rights. Also, the ESPN coverage is the worst of the broadcasters in America which doesn’t really help.

To watch MNF live it needs to be a really really REALLY good game. Not just because of the time, but because ESPN coverage is absolute trash.

Looking forward to seeing Riddick this year - should be a big upgrade

Supposedly ESPN had Peyton on the hook, but he was only coming if they got a Jim Nantz/Al Michaels type as a partner and they couldn’t pull it off.

Y‘all across the pond are lucky we decided to try playing college ball, else they would’ve thrown Saturday night games in there too.

Typical that the Broncos first game of the season is MNF.

Felt like we had loads of late games last year and barely got to watch them live, but I’m probably misremembering. Looking at the schedule most of the confirmed times are ok over the next 12 weeks, only a few that’ll be too late and one is the Chiefs which I’ll be glad to miss

Naturally reddit is telling me Chubb isn’t back to 100% and will be on a pitch count.

Seeing those two together was one of the things I was most looking forward to this season, aside from Lock’s progress with these new weapons.

Damn that sucks :( Injured a tendon in his ankle on the last play of practice ffs.

Him and Derwin James are two of the best defensive players in the league. Sucks to have to miss them for an entire season already.

All the reports for the last few weeks have been how Von is crushing it in practice and looks on top form, he came back bigger and seemingly with a whole new level of focus and desire.

I’m absolutely gutted.

Nah can't agree with that, I'd also be gutted if the likes of Derrick Henry or Darius Leonard would be out for our division rivals.

I wanna see as much of the top players healthy and in action, all the time.

That is shit. Makes the league a little less exciting when the top players are out injured, especially long term. Still think Denver will be a fun team to watch this year.

I thought Denver were going to make huge strides this season, I still think they’ll progress offensively, but that’s a bitch.

This may lead to a lot of extra Lock pass attempts if their defense can't keep the opposition from scoring. On the other hand, they might not see the field as much if their defense can't get off the field of course.

Sucks all around. The AFC West was gonna be a lot of fun but I think the Chargers won't be competitive enough (already big injuries too) and now Denver gets decimated as well. Raiders are gonna take a step forward but the Chiefs will still be untouchable.

Earl Thomas at last, or a bigger payday for Dak?

Reason for optimism but I fear that Denver will have nothing left to play for when he's able to return to the field.
