The Texans looked like they might hang in there, and seemingly suddenly by early in the 3rd they’re down 17. At least we haven’t lost the Chiefs offense in the pandemic.

There's a lot I still don't understand about American football, but this is at the top of the list.

Watson needs better around him. Mahomes is playing with elite talents while he's dealing with incompetence outside of his running back.

Thought the Chiefs were underwhelming. Mahomes looked off on some throws and the Hill TD came after a complete non-PI during that endzone INT imo.

Easy win for them though but expected that. Watson has no time. And our defense isn’t that good. Justin Reid is a superstar in the making though.

BTW, cheap signal by Mahomes and the Chiefs with regard to BLM.

Should sit out Week 1 and let it fully heal first. No good starting a season off with a banged-up shoulder.

If it makes you feel better, just seen he posted this afterwards so was apparently unrelated to Bill O'Brien being a shit coach/GM.
That last part cannot be stressed enough though. If he lasts beyond this season I'm gonna look for another NFL team to support. Feck him.

Chiefs rookie RB looks good. Just what they needed, another offensive weapon.

Only saw the highlights which didn’t cover it... did the teams kneel/stay in the locker room for the anthem?

They linked arms before kick off - pretty sure the fans in attendance boo’d it

I've just finished watching several seasons of American Football based 'ALL OR NOTHING' on Amazon. I am very new to the sport, just about understand the rules.

I feel like I want to follow a team this season. But would like to make a strategic choice, so I enjoy the sport at its best, and hopefully a team that makes it to the play offs.

Who is the Manchester United equivalent in American football? ie a historic glamour team that has famous players and plays an attacking and exciting version of the sport?

The Patriots are the United of the NFL. But they are suffering a United-like fate atm, hence I would not follow them. Instead KC chiefs

Just watch a lot of games and then start to follow a team you like, rather than picking "the Man Utd equivalent in the NFL".

Chiefs or Ravens for you. Both incredibly exciting and have a good chance of being in the super bowl. One of them is almost certain to be playing in it.

I suggest you take a look at up and coming teams (IMO at least)

Arizona Cardinals
Denver Broncos
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (young stars on Offense and Defense)

Thanks for the recommendations.

Sounds like it should be the Chiefs! Will start to investigate them and let the love affair commence :D

i liked the Cardinals from the first series of All or Nothing, esp Carson and Fitz and also the coach, GM and owner were all cool too.

Carson has gone and the coach now coaches Buccs

Wont have the time to watch loads. Who do you follow the most?
Texans.

Just picking the best team in the NFL (Chiefs) right now as your new team seems extremely boring and glory-hunting to me.
