Truly shocking play by Dallas, there's going to be some shouting at half time

That celebration

Terrific drive. Second half should be excellent, unfortunately I have to get sleep :(

Hope Dallas wins.

Watching the Seahawks playing like complete shit and managing to come from behind, is something truly fascinating. They will so end up winning this one.

Kirk was down. That one‘s coming back.

Fairly certain a Penalty flag will be thrown any minute now to take us back to the first play of the game. Such is the life and luck of us Eagles fans.
  few people are getting more and more nervous the better they do, because they're just waiting for the shit to hit the fan eventually and it's just building up to be terrible at this point.

Looking good but hard to know how good considering the schedule you are on .Saints and Rams looking good too.

Hopefully will be a Patriots free superbowl

I think Dallas are the second best team in the conference, Rams and Saints as you say are quietly going about their business as well. I can see a Cowboys Vs. Eagles NFC championship game. If we can secure home field I think we can make a serious run and of course, the longer this Elliott thing drags on at this point the better chance he stands of missing playoff games.

Most of it, you guys look good but don't overlook just how bad the Broncos are right now.

I've got a friend in the US who's an Eagles fan too, I'd be pleased to see you make the SB.

Osweiler was just a disaster move.

But to be honest, even your defence was poor yesterday. And i don't think the time on the field applies i.e. not tired.

Yea even the D sucked which is a new one.

I've honestly had it with Vance Joseph. He felt like the wrong choice from the start; I was vocal in my preference for other options and his first move was getting rid of the best defensive coordinator in the game which felt a lot like Moyes arriving at United and getting rid of the backroom staff.

His play calling is poor, the team looks bereft of ideas and has absolutely nothing about them whatsoever and every time the camera cuts to him on the sideline he looks like he hasn't got a clue what he should be doing.

We need a real QB and a real head coach, as well as reinforcements on the offensive line.

Couldn't agree more with this. Seemed like an arrogant move then and even more so.

Does he call the plays then? Not the O.C?

For me, Broncos need 1) a QB, 2) A much improved offensive line. Probably no.2 before you try and fix no.1. The real issue though is that some key parts of your defense are not young... e.g. Talib. Your timeline to make the most of this usually top notch D is slowly running out...

In terms of HC, with your current o-line and QB pool, no HC will really turn you into a true SB contender, even with your D.

Mike McCoy probably does call a lot of plays but the design will be in conjunction with Joseph and the way we've been playing doesn't feel like the McCoy I remember from his first stint with the Broncos, but I could be wrong.

You're definitely right about the aging of key defensive players, but I think there's time left in them yet. Talib is 31 but he and Harris Jr are still the best CBs in the league. We've also got some promising younger players on that side of the ball like Parks.

The offense is absolute trash though.

I'm no Eagles fan mate, sadly I have to suffer with the 49ers. I just live in Philly!

 apologies mate, I struggle to remember who supports who outside the Patriots gloryhunters! lol come at me!

Maybe you should become an Eagles bandwagoner for the year!

Its bullshit that AJ Green and Ramey will not be suspended after their fight. NFL officiating at its finest.

That was quite sad to watch.
At least the franchise is sorta being exposed for all the faults. Would be nice to think it would be addressed by next season where it would give Rodgers the best chance to get a second ring, but that clearly wont happen.

So it's actually a better idea to punch someone flat in the face/helmet rather than making an illegal block or hit since that does get you suspended and fined? Ridiculous by the NFL. Especially when you consider Evans did get suspended.

Josh Gordon interview with CQ is interesting as well. Says he started using in the seventh grade and used alcohol or/and drugs before every NFL game, that's crazy man. Really hope for his own sake he's completely sober now and can become a proper athlete again.

Evans act was utterly despicable and could have severely injured the opponent. Definite suspendable act.

Though it can be argued Green and Ramsey should be suspended as well. I don't recall how many have for fights. I remember the Rison/Sanders smackdown back in 94 and neither were suspended that I recall.

Fire Mike McCarthy!
Defended him a lot, especially since he's really good at developing his players. But the playcalling is just not good enough. We don't sustain drives and put far too much pressure on the defense. I'm starting to think a change at coach might be our best option. Hope we lose out and get a great pick. No point in going 8-8.

It is evidently obvious now on how much Rodgers makes the rest of the team look better.

MM defends Hundley in post game interviews, yet corrals him with atrocious play calling. Going for quick short yardage is OK...but not mixing it with long ones makes it so predictable and Lions found it easy to defend.

And I don't want to talk about our secondary

We have talent. Especially considering how late we usually draft. The Pats for example don't have it better than we do. On offense, we might have the best passblocker in the league in Bakthiari. That's the most important position outside of QB. Bulaga might be the best RT in the league. Nelson and Adams are good receivers, Bennett is a good TE. We have great depth at TE. On defense, Clark and Daniels are as good as it gets when you want do defend the run. Martinez is becoming a better and more dominant player every game. Truly plays sideline to sideline. Perry is alright, too. Even in the secondary we have some solid guys. Clinton Dix and Burnett are great tacklers and House is having a tremendous season. The guy is not allowing anything.
Talent is not the issue. It's there. It's always been there. Even in the secondary it was always there. It's no coincidence that both Hayward and Hyde found themselves becoming great players for other teams.
We just found ways to screw up whenever we got cloe to going all the way (Seattle for example).
We're great at identifying and developing talent. McCarthy is part of this. But I just don't like our playcalling at all. Whenever the defense is performing, McCarthy starts doing weird things and puts terrible pressure on them. We never care to establish the run. We just don't give our D a chance. And that is down to McCarthy. All we do is run slants and hope for Rodgers to extend plays. That's not enough.

Can't see it would make too much sense for one thing. There's more chance of Johnny Manziel getting back than Colin sadly.

Kaepernick is better than half the starting QBs as it is and yet can't get a job even as back up that's says it all for his changes

Do you believe in Huntley? I mean Texans did the same with Watson when he first started. First two games were all slant passes for 10 or less yards but then they let him loose and he was amazing. I feel the Packers should just write off this season and let this guy loose. Sure he will make mistakes but if he turns out to be half the player Watson was then at least you can trade him for a draft pick. His missed a couple of long balls to Jordy last night but that one throw to Devante was very catchable. His receivers sometimes need to make brilliant plays to help this lad out. And he seems so much better in the no huddle offense.

I actually don't think he is better than half the starting QBs. He is still worthy as a backup QB though. Hopefully, something will come out of it for him.
