"World champions" :wenger:

It´s stupid and annoying in Basketball, Baseball and Hockey, but in American Football it makes sense. You could build a 53 men roster from the rest of the world and they´d struggle to beat the Browns.

This feels like the Pats Dynasty is finally over. Losing both coordinators and Brady is going to be 41.

As much as I hate the Eagles and Philly in general, congrats to them and thank you for beating this Pats team. Doug Peterson deserves a lot of credit. Deserved MVP for Nick Foles.

Y’all a bunch of haters, let them say what they want.

I think Brady and Belichick have at least 3 years more together.

Foles thinks his god put him in this position to guide the team and all. But his same god lets kids die of starvation, get molested, raped, killed, etc. I despise this nonsense, this public display of "how great a christian I am." /rant

A lot of talk about the call to go for 4th and 1 but think that call in the 4th to go for it on 4th down was the sensible call but very few coaches would make the call

The Eagles won the Super Bowl because Foles is a better receiver than Brady. Makes sense, I guess.

It's almost amazing how the most American of all events can actually be even more American, but giving the trophy to the owner and thanking "my lord and saviour Jesus Christ for making us the world champions of a national sport" does just that. If they trained an eagle to shoot a black Mexican in a school corridor it would come second to this.

I love it to bits!

Yes, it's hilarious.

Lol you are just a hater

Did you really have to say that? Weird post

They may stay together but this definitely feels like it will be their last SB together with the coordinators leaving.

I think Brady is already in decline. He would have been wise to retire tonight if they had won.

TBF, Ive heard hes been in decline for about 4 years.
I think the division hes in means he will have more shots at more superbowl games.

Brady isn't in decline, he's playing some of the best football of his career. It's one average/bad game. He doesn't rely on arm strength in the Pats system. He can last as long as he wants.

The idea that you can call yourself world champion when the trophy has a logo containing the abbreviation for National on it is just daft.

They called the sport American FOOTball. How do you still have expectations after that?

The irony of all of this is that Foles would make a great Brady replacement if he were to retire now.

Great game, thank you defenders for not showing up really. It's the most a neutral like me can hope for.

I don't watch many games per season but a 40 year old with knocks and injuries playing like that looks fine to me. In any sport athletes play as long as their body can handle it. Our handball captain is turning 40 in 6 months and he recently broke the record for most internation goals at the last Euros just now in January. He still plays as a starter for one of the best teams in the world in a sport that pretty much doesn't have breaks if you're an international at a good team and has a high rate of injuries. It's just a matter of how well you manage to take care of yourself on how lucky you are to not be hit by the worst injuries. It's becoming more evident by the great ones from the 1978-80 born players and we'll be see more 40 year olds as they years go by.

Teddy Sheringham played into his early 40s if memory serves. So did Roger Milla. Satchel Paige, Nolan Ryan, Roger Clemens, etc. pitched well into their mid-40s. Granted it is amazing how Brady does it in a violent contact sport and at an elite level to this day.

I love how the Eagles did it by staying aggressive throughout. They kept the foot on the gas, they stayed on the field on fourth down and were not afraid to use complicated or exotic plays.
Compare that to the Jax, who fecking knelt before the half, instead of trying to get points.
