Yeah i'm the same, I don't know if it's the positive buzz coming out of the Niners camp or the fact that there is no way we can have as bad a year as last year but i usually skip pre season. Not this year though.Still two months to go, feels like an age. So desperate that I'm actually going to watch the preseason games next month

I really don't understand what Washington is doing with Cousins. Do they honestly believe they can get someone better? It's weird how they keep trying to lowball him.

He was facing a petty larceny charge but according to his agent he is in flight while the incident took place. He could be a useful WR for some team i think.

A week to go until the first NFL action! Pre season is meh but heck, after so long without football I'll bloody take it!
Hopeful that this years Hard Knocks will be Texans-level good and not Rams-level meh. Although the dinosaur guy was "interesting". Wonder if the Bucs will have anyone dodgy on their roster... but certainly will be interesting to get an insight into Winston. Rave reviews of him and how he leads the team so should be good.

Can't remember if Sky show any preseason games. Hopefully they'll still be showing RedZone on its own dedicated channel (so it's in HD).
Wonder if Bill will give Jimmy G any full games in the pre-season. Don't expect him to take many snaps in the regular season unless Brady gets the curse
Best thing about training camp is the Hard Knocks show. That usually starts the first or second week in August.
Feels like for so many seasons now there's been something that's hampered the Steelers going into a new season. Injuries to Bell, Brown, Ben. the suspension for Bryant and now this crazy saga with Bell and his contract. Hasn't shown for the start of our camp.
The thought of losing IMO the best RB in the league guts me. I just want one fecking season of something not going wrong and actually allowing us to have Big Ben, Brown, Bell and Bryant all starting on the offence without issues.

Bell will turn up and play, I wouldn't worry too much about that.
He wants to get paid but after missing games through suspension last year you can understand the organisation wanting him to show a full year before paying him #1 RB money.

Niners finally managed to get Solomon Thomas signed to a rookie deal, Expecting big things from this kid in the next couple of seasons.
Conley has also signed his rookie contract with Oakland. Suspect that there might be a clause in there protecting the Raiders.
Only one left is the Titans WR I think.

They've cracked down this year and stopped people renewing if they didn't attend a certain amount of games so he'd probably have struggled to keep them for long anyway. But yea that would have been cool, we just went on Ticketmaster!
Part of me says damn that sucks, but I guess it makes sense. They're losing money on concession and merchandise sales if you're not there
I don't think the stadium ever has many empty seats, people sell on spares via Ticketmaster or similar. I think it's just a case of "you're not using it yourself and there's thousands of people waiting for one who will do" which I have to say is fair.

A friend of mine was looking to go to the London games next year but I said I wanted my first game to actually be at Mile High so I'm pretty excited to be going!

I checked the London tickets the other day and there's like singles for £150+ to meh games, not for me.
They'll drop, Just got to be prepared to wait. I'd recommend the London games, especially if you aren't from London and make a weekend of it with the lads.
