Is there anyway to get a fantasy league where we can pay into and winner gets the pot?

If so where can that be done and would any of you be interested?

Don't think any of the official ones have a feature for that specifically but a group could always get together and someone trustworthy holds the winners pot offline - but difficult to sort out on redcafe!

Another pointless rule change from the NFL may be coming soon.

Reducing OT from 15 to 10 minutes all for the sake of player safety that will at most eliminate 60 plays from the entire season. Not 60 plays per team, 60 plays from the entire season. And that is assuming the most number of plays that have taken place in a season in minutes 10 to 15 of OT. On average it will be more like 20 plays eliminated from the entire season.

Seems an odd rule change to push for. Also does not seem to bode well for those who want both teams to have possession in OT.

They need to change the OT rules so both teams get at least 1 possession each. This should definitely be the case in playoff games.

Also they should get rid of the Thursday night games.

They should get rid of all late games for the sake of us UK viewers!

I swear half the Broncos games last year were on at 01:25 :(

They'd do anything absolutely meaningless as long as they get to pretend to care about the health of the players. It's all about perception.

RIP Cortez Kennedy - Hall of Famer - Seahawk - Hurricane

Feck. Just went to his Wiki page to get some reminders of his career. I remember him as a great player. But this line about his death, just make me feel sad.

Kennedy died on May 23, 2017. He was 48 years old. According to police, Kennedy died alone

Player safety they cite. Bet those Thursday games on three days rests will be eliminated as well. Oh wait.

Kennedy was right there with John Randle as the most dominating DT of his era. Seattle fans should count their lucky stars Dallas selected Walsh in the 89 Supplemental Draft which then cost Dallas their first round pick in 1990, which ultimately would have been the first overall. No doubt in my mind Jimmy would have gone for his guy from the U - Kennedy (although some suggest Dallas would have taken Seau first but they had a good corps of LBs at the time and needed to add a dominating DL-man).

It was announced Saturday that the New England Patriots are set to sponsor Gay Bowl 17, which is a national championship tournament for LGBT flag football teams.

According to Cyd Zeigler of OutSports, the sponsorship was announced by Boston's LGBT Flag Football group and later confirmed by the Pats.

The tourney will be held in Boston in October.

Per Zeigler, the event has been held since 2002, and 40 teams are expected to compete this year.

According to the Gay Bowl's official website, there will be Open 'A,' Open 'B,' and women's divisions at the tournament to be held at Progin Park in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Well done to the Pats for getting involved with this!

Pats sign Andrew Hawkins, giving us 6 options at WR. Reckon he or Amendola gets cut before the season starts.

Are we even half way through the off season
98 days to go till Chiefs-Pats so yeah, comfortably past midway point.

99 Days until Football. #CantWait

Thank God. My Sunday nights have been far too free far too long.

Pats & Edelman agree new multi year contract. Excellent news. What a player he has become for us!!

Why would you release Maclin? The old no WR formation.

Perhaps something in it we don't know. Baltimore didn't make a deal with him either after a visit.
Maclin has signed a 2-year deal with the Ravens today. Good extra option for Flacco to have, and definitely increases Perriman's worth in Fantasy Leagues.

Yeah after I made the post a while later I read that the Ravens wanted him but it was actually Maclin who wanted to consider his options. Interesting.

Agree it's a v good weapon for Flacco.

Greg Robinson, taken with the 2nd overall pick in the 2014 draft, has been traded to the Lions. For a 6th rounder. It still amazes me how little the Rams have accomplished with so many picks.

So many good vibes coming out of the Niners minicamp. I know we probably won't make the play offs but after last year any positive light feels great.....at least until the season starts.

11-20 from the Top 100 Players of 2017 got released yesterday. Prescott over Brees seems like a joke to me tbh, he just threw over 5,000 yards once again with an Oline 100x worse than Prescott's.

1-10 still to come - Brady, Ryan, Julio, Odell, Bell, Brown, Miller, Rodgers, Zeke and Mack still left?

The whole thing is crap and seems to boil down to hype and image more than anything.

The players only have to fill in a list of 25 names in random order if I remember correctly, so of course it's not going to be very representative. I think the top 10 is pretty much what I'd thought it would be although you can always argue for changes to be made either way. From place 20 onwards, you can basically switch almost every player and make a case for it, yeah.

It's good fun watching the clips during the off-season though, I enjoy it and don't pay too much attention to the actual rankings.
