Considering how many injuries happen each year, I think it's ridiculous if the NFL ever increased the number of games to 18.

Got to feel for players who get ruled out for the season. Not only do they lose out on this season, if someone else comes in and does a good job, there's a possibility they won't have the chance to come back next season either.

It would shorten many careers up also. The average right now is 3.3 years. Add in a few more games (you know neither the players nor owners are giving up the income by cancelling preseason games) and that number will probably go down.

Booker has looked great on his touches though. Not sure if he's going to be as good when he's the work horse but I wouldn't write it off just yet.

Yeah, they just need a backup and Booker needs to hug the ball tighter which shouldn't a problem since he was sure handed in college, if I'm not mistaken.

Similar to Matt Cassell? A decent QB in a great team but not good enough to be the leader himself to carry the team.
