Horrible stuff. As a life long Cane fan, I've dealt with no less than 8 of these over the years.

Jerome Brown, Shane Curry, Marlon Barnes, Chris Campbell, Al Blades, Bryan Pata, Sean Taylor, Stanley Shakespeare

At least two of which were future hall of famers. Very sad.

The Titans traded the first round pick to the Rams. Interesting.

Rams' first-round pick (#15 overall)
Rams' second-round pick (#43, from Eagles)
Rams' second-round pick (#45)
Rams' third-round pick (#76)
Rams' 2017 first-round pick
Rams' 2017 third-round pick

Titans' first-round pick (#1 overall)
Titans' fourth-round pick (#113)
Titans' sixth-round pick (#177)

Jared Allen will retire from the NFL tomorrow as a Viking.

Risky move I think. Giving up 6 picks in the first 3 rounds (yes two are next year) to move up and draft a QB who may not be worth all that. If it works out, great, but oh the pain if it does not.

Good move by the Titans though, get to add lots of players. They now have 4 picks in the first two rounds this season. Also two third round picks. They can add some talent this draft.

Very interesting!

Browns will be a bit pissed off. In an ideal scenario the Titans would pick Tunsil at 1 and leave Cleavland the pick of the QBs.

Makes great sense for the Titans.

Rams get to start their LA return with a big name QB but not much else.

Don't think that's a good deal for the Rams. I think it exposes a problem of decision makers having different goals than the franchise. Fisher and Snead won't last much longer without a quarterback they can point to and say "that's our quarterback of the future, our rebuild worked", but they are mortgaging the future of the franchise to pick a quarterback in a down year because if it goes wrong, they won't be around to pay the price of the lost picks they gave up.

That trade seems insane, a massive risk on one player no matter how important the position might be.

The Titan's have pulled the Ram's pants down.

They could trade back the 1st for a pick between 4th-10th and a 3rd round.

To be fair, the franchise needs a big name QB to hang their hat on so to speak. New town, don't want to be the same old 7-9 Rams, tickets to sell etc.

But yeah, very expensive way for Fisher and Snead to buy themselves time.

the problem being, does this draft actually have a big name Quaterback in it?

This, Lynch would have been available at 15 and they could have drafted a WR in the next two rounds. Now they have to draft a QB but can't give him decent support.

I thought compared to other years the quality of these QB's is pretty poor. Seems a mental trade by the Rams.

They have to be thinking that they can get the QB they need and then be able to fill any holes they still have or that develop in the next season or two with free agents. No idea what their cap space looks like, but this is a huge risk, they might be stuck without a QB and without a way to infuse young talent into the squad for two drafts.

Tennessee on the other hand could be in for a huge infusion of talented young players if they draft right, the might even be able to turn some of these picks into more picks with some smart trades.

Apparently a Super Bowl rematch to open the new season.

The only athlete who made me stand the feck up from my seat in disbelief due to sheer athleticism alone was Harvin. Such a tragedy that his career didn't go well.

Brandon Brown back to Seattle. LOB back together.

Oh joy, that game again.

Insane trade by the Rams, they gave up so much. The QB talent isn't even high this year?
Aren't they making the same mistake the Redskins did trading all those picks TO the Rams a few years to move up to draft RGIII?

Strange to see teams making such massive moves in such a supposedly weak draft. Seems great business, but then it's the Browns, so it's bound to blow up in their face somehow.
