I've watched the whole season. I really liked it. It's good, but the praying every 20 mins is a bit much for me.

I thought it was a documentary?

Not watched it yet, but plan to at some point.
FFS you're right  Just looked it up - I was convinced it was fiction, not sure why.

Anyone watched Last Chance U yet? I watched the first episode yesterday and seems like a very good show, I like that they're presenting it as a documentary.

Watched a couple of episodes so far. Going to be interesting to see how many of the players struggle to maintain their grades, and thus their hopes of playing big time college football. On a side note, I swear I saw on of the players grab the backside of that councilor who helps them out. Probably just a bad camera angle though.

I think it's in the Hard Knocks/All or Nothing mould but with a high school team. It's on Netflix.

It's actually a junior college team, filled with a lot of players who for one reason or another got dropped by a bigger school and they need to go to a JUCO to get their grades up and regain eligibility. Some of the players are from big name schools.

It's a small juco out in the middle of nowhere that decided to make a name for itself in JUCO football. I am guessing the spending on the stadium and facilities outweighs the combined value of the rest of the property in the town. There does not seem to be anything there, and the players talked about how there is nothing to do but play football and play video games.

Interesting, thanks, I'll give it a look for sure at some point.

I'm just not into it the same way as Hard Knocks or the Cardinals one. Can't put my finger on why.

Two things I've taken away from the first half of this weeks Hard Knocks:

William Hayes is a genuine first class moron.

Remote tackle dummies are amazing.

Problem with Sanchez is not just that he is erratic when he passes but he's also careless in terms of fumbling.
The butt fumble was one of the greatest plays in the history of sports.

So, basically Butler Community College? I think that's the big one in Kansas.

Just read Pats are releasing Stork. Very surprised by that, despite the injuries.

Damn, I just realized we lost Trevathan and Jackson. I suppose I should catch up on things before the FF draft...

Patriots have traded for Cleveland's Barkevious Mingo, the 2013 6th overall pick.

Wtf is up with Joey Bosa by the way? The whole situation is becoming more and more ridiculous.

Read a bit about what's happening with him. Not often I back a team over a player but I think he's acted like a dick.

As if it ain't hard enough to be a rookie. Kid is shooting himself in the foot.

Forget about the current implications but if he's doing this as a rookie just imagine what he would do when renewing a contract etc. He's just put off a lot of teams from ever touching him and, whereas some players have quality and history to carry might in negotiations he ain't even got that. I fully am on San Diegos side on this one especially if what they said in their statement is true.
