Tyler Lockett is great, pretty excited to see him this year. Frank Clark too to be honest.

Nb this is not based only off a game against the Raiders.

They have both been excellent

Anyone UK based know of a website that lists which NFL games will be shown on tv and on which channel etc?

:(

Credit to him for wanting to be a QB, but if he changes to a FB/TE I'm sure he'd have a team and wouldn't be wasting away.

Reggie Wayne released by the Pats. Strange decision, Twitter reckons he may be retiring and wants to do so as a Colt. Leaves us short at WR.

For all you salty non-Pats fans.

And,

For all you Pats fans

So Around the NFL guys did their NFC predictions. They picked Seahawks, Packers, Eagles, Saints as the division winners (one of them picked Falcons over the Saints). There were a lot of differences in the wc though with Lions, Cardinals, Rams and Vikings all getting some votes. Not a single vote for the Cowboys

Good! Completely justified though. The cowboys running game isn't good enough to be Division winners with Randle and McFadden.

I don't really watch NFL anymore but I'm a huge league fan and I've just seen a few videos of Hayne, he seems to be doing really well, when he learns the game more then he will become a very valuable player.

I've noticed that a lot of Americans are really excited about watching him play too which is good to see, He's not really doing anything different to how he played rugby, he was always a fast and explosive player in league and could easily break a defensive line and that's without having people blocking for him I think he will be a huge success in the NFL. I wish him well on his adventure. I think 49ers are going to have a massive increase in Aussie and rugby league fans in general.

Hayne's No. 38 San Francisco 49ers jersey is the number one item in the NFL online store. (AAP)

ftectold Fairfax Media earlier this year that the Hayne hype was unprecedented.

"I’ve never seen anything like it before, it’s crazy," he said.

"His jersey is in high demand right now. He’s exceeded a lot of expectations transitioning into NFL football. He’s a wonder kid. He’s in such high demand right now."

Jarryd Hayne has last laugh over that shirtless photo

YOU all read the jokes on social media, maybe even cracked a couple yourself.

“Naw, poor Hayne. He looks like the waterboy.”

“Hayne needs to start eating whatever they’re eating.”

“So awkward. Like he snuck up behind just to get in the photo.”

The reaction to the infamous photograph posted to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s Instagram page was savage. Most saw it as an early sign Hayne had no hope of making it in the NFL. How could he expect to compete with athletes sporting muscles that would make cartoon superheroes blush? Six months later, it turns out Hayne wasn’t the odd guy out in the photograph. Of the eight players in the picture at the EXOS training facility in Phoenix, Arizona, seven will begin the season on NFL rosters.

Bradley Roby (far left) enters his second year at cornerback with the Denver Broncos.

Darrius Heyward-Bey (second from left) will look for increased playing time behind Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton at wide receiver in his second season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tyrod Taylor (third from left) has beaten out first round pick EJ Manuel and veteran Matt Cassel for the starting quarterback job at the Buffalo Bills after spending the past four seasons in Baltimore.

Colin Kaepernick (fourth from left) will carry a 49ers offence that has struggled at times during the preseason.

Antone Exum Jr (fourth from right) is battling for a starting strong safety spot in his second year at the Minnesota Vikings.

Jarryd Hayne (third from right) will look to make an impact on special teams and as a back-up running back in his rookie season with the San Francisco 49ers.

Ricardo Lockette (second from right) is looking to put a horror finish to last season (he was the receiver intercepted by New England’s Malcolm Butler in the game-winning play in last year’s Super Bowl) after re-signing with the Seattle Seahawks.

Alfonso Smith (far right) has become the odd man out as the only player in the photograph to remain a free agent. Smith is still working out in the hope of being picked up by a team after playing for the 49ers last season.

While everyone else was focused on how his six-pack compared to the eight and 10-packs of his rippled training partners, Hayne just put his head down and went to work. And he now he’s one of them. “It didn’t really stand out to me, I wasn’t worried about that,” said Hayne, when asked about whether he was conscious of how he looked in the photograph last month. “I was more worried about getting in and understanding the passing concepts and obviously just working with Kap. “That was the start of the big move and for Kap to welcome me with open arms was huge and something I’m very grateful for. All the boys that were there at EXOs were great, they all helped me out as much as they could and they were all rooting for me as well, which was surprising.”

Now a member of San Francisco’s 53-man roster, Hayne has forced his critics to eat their words. The 27-year-old took a veiled jab at those who doubted him while thanking the 49ers for giving him a chance. “Coach Jim Tomsula and (49ers general manager) Trent Baalke have been great throughout the whole process,” Hayne said. “For them to just put faith in me and give me the opportunity has probably been the biggest thing. When everyone else had their question marks — all the so-called experts thought they knew everything and had seen it all before — for them to see something different in me and want to explore that option, I have to thank them.”
