Indy won again

Do they not want Luck?

indy haven't sewed up the #1 pick yet...
but vikes/rams don't need a QB...

Congrats. It'd be nice if other teams would do that sort of thing.

How much did that cost you?

I think they were like $250-$300 a share.

no other team is publicly owned. just the third time in their history they've done this. the first time kept the team from folding. the two other times have been for stadium/complex improvements. much better than forcing a sales tax down people's throats. it's a novelty i know. $275 total. got to get a nice frame for it now.

Close win for the Pats. Jets look to have lost to Giants, time for Rex to go imo.

Humiliating loss for Denver, maybe Tebowmania is now over?

Can Tebow give a post-game speech for the fans? Ah hahaha!

All that good Christian work Tebow does for his Lord and this is the thanks he gets on Christmas eve. Hehe.

Fantastic achievement from Brees. He's had an incredible year yet doesn't get much of a look in with Rodgers having a great season himself.

That is the best TD of the season. Incredibly Simpson is able to do that but was sent flying by the slightest of touches in the game v Cleveland. Suarez would've been proud of that dive.

It will be interesting if the Saints play Brees in their final game. If they don't then there is a chance Brady will break Bress' new record for passing yards but if they do play him then he might get injured.

I'm reconsidering my MVP vote. I'm giving it to Brady considering what he has surrounding him compared to Rodgers and Brees, and how shit that Pats defense is.

Last week is full of excitement and ifs and buts! Going to be a cracking Sunday.

I think this is gonna be the Pats best chance of a Superbowl for a couple of years. The defence will take more than a year to fix, and the possible QB's they might face are a limping Roethlisberger, Flacco who has been poor, and the rest don't really need mentioning, apart from possibly Dalton who is a rookie.

Edit: reaching the superbowl I mean. I still think Rodgers or Brees would beat them

It could improve quicker than that with a strong off-season. Improved health and a few key personnel decisions can always lead to a quick turnaround, especially with the staff they have. Look at what the Texans achieved in one, unusual off-season. I doubt someone like Wade Phillips would be allowed to come in and implement his own scheme though.

Brady is nicked up too but I doubt it will be a huge problem and hopefully it will stop all these Quarterback sneaks and the running out the pocket which he has done recently. If they get to the Superbowl, they have as good a chance as anyone, Brady can tear apart both of their defense’s on any given day. It would likely come down to turnovers. I have a feeling it will be the Ravens anyway, as long as Flacco doesn’t shit the bed and they can get over the Steelers mental hump.

I have been impressed by the red head too, he has been throwing into some tight windows and it looks like he has a special weapon in Green. He could put up a ton of yards on the Patriots, the Bengals or Raiders will likely be the sixth seed and play Houston too. That’s a toss up without Schaub for me, I could see the sixth seed visiting Gillette providing the Patriots take care of business this Sunday.

I don't really watch college football so I'm unsure as to the strength of the draft class coming through, but Carter seems to have sorted the lack of pass rush (despite him moving to IR), but the cornerbacks seem to have regressed this year, especially McCourty, and with Dowling seemingly doing his best Hargreaves impression, another corner is needed as well as a safety, along with possibly some linebackers because of Carter can't do it by himself. I just can't see that getting sorted in one off season.

Yep. McCourty has really shocked me, I didn’t see this coming.

I watched the Lions thanksgiving game from last year again recently and he was really impressive locating the ball when in coverage on Megatron. I remember him being competitive against Marshall too and ripped an interception from his arms last year. He’s looked lost at times this year when its time to make a play on the ball, especially against larger targets. He had some decent break ups against the Redskins and also last week but I don’t see him reaching the level of last year to close the season.

I was wondering if it was the sheer amount of interceptions he got last year was making me overrate his overall play, but I guess not then if you say he did well against Johnson. I really thought he'd eventually become a shutdown corner, but now I have no idea whats gonna happen. He may come good, or he may do a Butler.

Lions are playing very well.

Against a Packers team resting Rodgers and others and with nothing to play for. That said, the Lions are the type of team that could/will win next weekend and then probably play Green Bay again. And I think they could win against a full strength Packers side as well (though they probably won't).

Bye-bye the mighty J.E.T.S!! Another loss and no playoffs for Rex and his loud mouth. He should consider a job as a banker, makes a lot of guarantees but always manages to feck it up without delivering.

Brady & Pats offense went crazy after the first quarter - scoring 49 unanswered points to secure the #1 seed for the AFC. Brady passes 5,000 yards passing for the season which is a great achievement. Credit to the defense for shutting the Bills down after they made a great start.

Colts get Luck, big decision to be made regarding Manning's future.

Flynn's thrown for 480 yards and 6 TD's, that Green Bay offense is unbelievable.

I'm looking more forward to the Saints-Packers game than the Superbowl - could be a record scoreline the way both offenses are playing.

Ricky Williams has got 10,000 rushing yards now, I watched his 30 for 30 documentary the other day and it was very compelling viewing, happy for him that he's realised his potential to an extent.

Atlanta

They're a great watch. I also really like documentaries on the Superbowl winning teams, I wish Sky had done something similar for our PL win last season with it being #19.

They're fecking awesome, I watched the one on the Raiders with Ice Cube in too, definitely have to watch more.

Come on Raiders. Tebow is all hype, Denver needs a real QB.

It's actually painful to watch Tebow pretend to a be QB.

You have players like Vick and Newton who are QBs but can run with the ball. Tebow is a RB who can just about pass the ball. I think they would be more effective with Tebow as a FB, Mcgahee at RB and a QB who can pass.

I enjoyed that one too, especially the parts with Al Davis.

It's possibly one of the last interviews he did as well, not sure.

It's a special group of receivers with a lot of depth and an ability to run different route combinations. That's what separates the Packers and Saints offense from the Patriots for me. A lot of Brady's throws to Gronkandez and Welker are contested and in the middle of the field, there is not a consistent big play threat on the outside. Henderson or Jones are depth players for those teams but would likely improve the Patriots and create room for underneath routes. Not that Brady is struggling or anything!

Just realised Stafford threw for over 5000 yards as well, I hope this doesn't happen next year.
