Nfl 2010-2011

The Giants-Panthers game has finally come to life in the last 1 minute of the half. 2 good TD catches by each team, hopefully 2nd half is played like the last couple of minutes.

Come on Falcons.

My stream breaks seemingly on every field goal attempt.

Broncos look like they are going to lose no surprises there

The Panthers QB is a joke. 3 interceptions in the red zone and just fumbled the ball following a tackle. Scrappy game, 9 turnovers says it all really.

Great to see the Pats winning and Welker coming back with a strong performance from his injury. Looking at P.Manning stats, he completed 40 passes from 57 attempts, 3TDs and still lost

And the fact he's arguably the most overrated NFL player ever. Great QB but massively overrated. Best QB ever my ass. I'd take Brady, Peyton, Elway, Young, Marino, and Aikman over him any day of the week and twice on Sunday (his peers during his career).

Aikman LoL.

So when did this "Process" bullshit become a rule?

Calvin Johnson clearly had possession of the ball in the endzone. That was a fecking touchdown.

Every year for the last five or six years he's been moaning about retirement and this or that. Then he trashes the Packers by stating he wants to play for the Vikings (akin to a United player requesting a transfer to Leeds) despite being under contract. So Packers management finally got fed up with this annual act and traded his ass to the Jets. A year later he's with the Vikings.

I'd take Montana over all mentioned other than Elway

Houston have a good team this year, Kubiak is an excellent coach

I'm liking the Eagles retro helmets and jerseys, I like a lot of the jerseys they used more in the 80s and 90s. Was a big fan of the Houston Oilers one, but I guess that is out now that htey moved to Tennesses and are now the Titans and the new Houston team are the Texans. I liked the Broncos then, the old Giants helmets were dope, same with the Jets. Oh the old Seahawks stuff was tight too. I think a lot of the teams that were their classic uniform, as in since the merger or thereabout are pretty nice, like the Steelers, Bears, Packers, Raiders, Redskins, the Browns, and the Bengals (well at least their helmets which are cool).

The Texans have been threatening to do that against the Colts for a while and have thrown away some decent leads. I saw the score in the third quarter and half expected them to choke and bend over to Manning as usual, good win for them. Bob Sanders got banged up again too, Polian must really regret that contract.

That;s funny Keyzer I took a nap from 930 till 11 am and when I woke I saw the score was 13-0 nothing and just assumed the Colts were up by that, then I realized they were playing the Texans, ad thought to myself that they might be the ones ahead since they have the habit of getting big leads against Indy early. Great numbers from Manning, though, it will be interesting to see how Indy does this year, on paper I would say they are strong as last year, that said I think they will face stiffer competition and have somewhat of post Super Bowl loss hangover as evidenced today.

My first reaction, but he must have kept control of the ball, off the floor even during the full process of going to the ground, in bounds or not really (which wasnt an issue as his feet definetly were in bounds..)

Who won three SBs, is a HOFer and often considered by people with even a tinkling of knowledge about the sport, let alone those that played or worked in the league, as a top class QB. But you're probably one of those anti-Cowboys types.

I'm not saying he wasn't a top class QB, but to claim he is/was better than Favre is way off line imo. Brett never had the supporting cast Troy did.

And I'm neutral in the NFL, or I support whoever I've backed.

Muller, you caught the Moss post game press conference yet? I don’t think it’s going to go down too well in the organisation with him kind of overshadowing a solid win. It’s basically just him clamouring for a new contract etc. He had some interesting comments about Revis as well - that he opened his eyes last year and he spent his off-season ‘trying to stay off Revis Island’. I can’t wait to play the self proclaimed Superbowl champions next week; the pressure is kinda off in some ways.

That opening gambit wasn't very good if you ask me, saying that he doesn't feel like people in the area want him to do well...and saying that he doesn't feel appreciated

Just seen that Calvin Johnson one, and I'll freely admit I don't fully know all the rules, but that should be a TD in my opinion

No QB had the supporting cast Montana was fortunate to have yet that doesn't stop people from claiming him as the best ever. But it does somehow discredit Aikman in some views. Unitas, Staubach, Starr, Bradshaw, Young all had great supporting casts but it's only Aikman that seems subject to naysayers.

Packers win, Rangers sweep the yankees, cowboys and vikings loose. if only United hadn't given up those two goals it would be a perfect sports weekend for me.

Just watched it now. Its slightly strange really, its basically him looking for a new contract, saying hes happy, but not happy with the way the media has portrayed him. Bad timing though, I was feeling very positive after our game. (Brady is just so, so good). For what its worth, I think Randy contract should be addressed after a few games this season - yesterday he was really god, but we cant afford any of the apathetic Moss that kept coming back last year.

I would like to find out just where and how Alex Barron learned how to block let alone play offensive tackle. He's easily the worst pro OT I've ever seen in my life. I never realized how bad he was while playing in St Louis (basically because I never watched the Rams).

every team has one. on the Packers it was allen barbre (until he was cut on the last day). barron had to hold on that last play. he was beaten and had he not held, romo would have been a nasty spot on the turf.

So glad that the loud mouth Jets got taken out, I could see them missing the playoffs this year, watch this space.

If Haloti Ngata and Vince Wilfork were on the same team, you could just play a two man line.

my two favorite teams lose key players with broken legs...Packers lose Ryan Grant, United loses Antonio Valencia. each team is weakened significantly and careers are possibly altered.
