Nfl 2010-2011

Why exactly are both showing it?

BBC for people without Cable or Satellite

Sky for people with Cable or Satellite (providing they have Sky Sports 1/HD1)

Sky's coverage starts at 10pm, BBC 11pm (UK times)

BBC for me, don't have to watch the million ads Sky will show.

I might be watching this. Someone tell me the rules, all I know is it's football played with your hands, I'm already confused. Also, tell me which team to "support" and why. Thanks in advance.

Not helping. Fwiw I just read that there's three ways to score. Touchdown, field goal and safety. Please explain safety?

To give a very general definition, safety is when you get pushed all the way back while on offense. Kind of like a backwards touchdown. Two points for the defensive team plus the offensive team loses the ball.

Edit: Think of it as a war game.

You guys don't get the same adverts we do though, right? The commercials are a big deal here since so many people watch so advertisers go all out. I wouldn't imagine the same would be the case on your side.

No, but an advert for a renault van is more entertaining than watching people talk about things I have little understanding of.

Also, greatest bet ever: Aguilera is Evens to sing the word "Brave" for longer than 6 seconds at the end of the national Anthem! Gotta be worth a punt.

That's up to evens now? I thought it was far below earlier today. Is the over 1 minute 54 seconds still below even?

Nice interview with Jennings on Sky, time for him to become a superstar. He's quietly been one of the best WRs in the league for the past few years.

I know its the same every year, but Jesus the opeing drags on like hell.

But one thing is for sure Americans are the Kings of Cheese

USA USA USA

I decided I might want to watch this, even though I know nothing of handegg, nor care very much. But, I'm bored. However, it seems to easier to find a stream of Bolton - Blackburn than the Superbowl. It's on tv here, but I'm pretty sure it'll have a Norwegian commentator, and I just can't accept that.

It's american commentary.

Btw, Aguilera took 10 seconds to scream the word "brave".

I actually felt violent towards my TV during the anthem. God, I would hate if we had to go through this when United was in a CL Final. The pre-show alone would make me homicidal.

Really? I'm sure the TV-Guide said "with (blatantly Norwegian name)". Maybe he's just for breaks.. or something.

Guess I'll watch this then. I just found out today that you can only throw the ball forwards once. And that's pretty much the sum of my knowledge.

Could Messi play, though? I'll leave it at that :D

Asbjørn Slettemark in the studio.

Did they just say "the coin toss ceremony"??

They don't half make a big bloody deal out of everything.
