Circles close to Neymar and leaks close to PSG confirm Neymar will play his last game today, we hope this isn't the case.

Am I the only one that thinks Neymar is making the right career choice by going to PSG? I mean he will double his salary, He gets to be the main man at one of the clubs with a real chance of winning the CL also if he wins the CL with PSG, he's almost certain to win the Ballon D'or where as at Barca it's Messi.
He won't recover from meeting the MUFC defenceHe's retiring?

HahaPhil Jones will end anyone who stands between him and the Ballon D'or
I like you and the way you thinkI think he should stay in La liga.
But he should move.
He just released new boots.A friend of mine with some Adidas contacts said this was all a marketing strategy to get everyone talking about Neymar before his new shoes release(has there been any news of his upcoming shoe?) Shoes as in cleats.
Sounds farfetched tbh.
If this transfer goes ahead it's a perfect example of bad influences on young football players.
He doesn't need money and Barca surely pay him enough that he can live exactly as he chooses. Barcelona is on the beach, it's a fun city, weather's great, most romanticized team of recent times and phenomenally successful. La Liga is in top tier of leagues and he should be up for Ballon D'or on merit not just because he can't outshine Messi...
Paris is also a shithole but I guess that's subjective and whenever I've been there I haven't been on £400k a week...
He could be unhappy at Barca which explains the talk of him leaving for sure time now .He may well hate the city the players and the role he has is the team
Paris is far from a shit hole they are a team that seems to be on the rise and aiming for the top in club football whereas Barca have been pretty much second best to Real the past couple of years certainly in the champions league and are not the team they were in the Xavi era although still a very good team .
Inshort I'm sure if he moves he will have very good reasons and not all money related , there's more to life than Barca
Especially because the footage was from before kick-off and not after the game finished.good old MEN with more bullshite.

was it really, did not watch because I was on an early start.Especially because the footage was from before kick-off and not after the game finished.
Yeah, they were in the tunnel before kick-off. Martial was talking to Umtiti, Lukaku was talking to Suarez. Just usual pre-match stuff.was it really, did not watch because I was on an early start.
The MEN is the worst for posting rubbish, but it is funny.
To be fair, there are some exceptional cases if that particular player is extremely important and special to the club. Didn't SAF make some leeway for Cantona, Ronaldo, Keane and the infamous Rooney saga when he questioned our club's ambition. If I'm Barca, I'd never ever sell Neymar but if I were Neymar, I could understand why he wants to move but I honestly think that its a step down for him if he were to move to any clubs bar Real Madrid or Bayern Munich.Barca need to let him go IMO, can you imagine what SAF would have done if a player signed a massive new contract 5 year contract, then came back 9 months later and said 'actually, I want another new contract with substantially higher wages, and a handsome signing on bonus for me and my agent'? Sayonara mate.
Yes he's a very, very good player. But nobody should be bigger than the club and they're just gonna have this tussle between Messi-Neymar and both wanting to be the highest paid player and the main guy until Messi retires, that's not gonna be good for unity. He's immensely talented but clearly just a mercenary and his dad whispering in his ear doesn't help... who really wants to have to deal with somebody like that?
220m Euros in silly money for a player. If they're happy to pay that, Barca can go after a Dybala/Dembele/Mbappe as a replacement and still have money left over to try and properly replace Xavi or Iniesta.

Neymar has always struck me as a guy that would sign for Real Madrid if the money was big and for the attention. If United signed him for $200m and with world record wages, he'd be kicking up a fuss in his second season and want to go to PSG or City and then he'd go to one of them and then two years later sign for the other. He'd kill the wage structure of the non-sugar daddy clubs and bring the egotism to new levels. Great player, but there's other great players and there will be other great players coming through.
We won't sign neymar because we have Cristiano, and because PSG's offer when all's said and done is impossible to match. Quite how they will fit it into FFP will be interestingTrue. He won't sign for Madrid though, because them, like Barca, don't have oil-club type of money on their hands. Neymar is not moving for attention, or to be the best, or some shit like that. He is moving for MONEY.
If we didn't have Cris on the books, i think we could have offered neymar similar wages, and probably triggered the release clause, too. The super fee for his dad, the private jet, hotel chain, etc, though, only PSG and City can afford
Michael Laudrup says Hi. And if that's who you meant, Luis Figo also says "Hola".He wouldn't have moved to Madrid anyway probably. Madrid managed to sign a key Barca player only once in history. A transfer like that brings a lot of heat on the player. Not everybody can take that.

Still went from Barca to Real at a great moment in his career and performed very well for Real. Not out of the realm of possibility that Neymar and co fall out with Barca because they don't cave into his antics.Laudrup went to Madrid after he fell out with Cruyff.

Probably he wouldn´t join, but Cristiano didn´t flirt with Barça and Neymar did several times with Madrid. Perhaps some day we will be a oil club, the luck of being owned by socios could end, but Barça was the first pulling the trousers down for Qatar´s moneyHe wouldn't have moved to Madrid anyway probably. True, with an attitude like that and so much desperation for money, sooner or later you're going to end up at an oil club.
Laudrup was a falling out What's to say Neymar doesn't fall out? He has a release clause. Not saying Real would pay it right now, but it's possible somewhere in the future the older Ronaldo gets.I was talking about players that moved from Barca to Real while being key players for Barca. Laudrup wasn't considered as such. There's only Figo's case in 100+ years. And there's a pretty complicated story in Figo's trasnfer as well. Moving from Barca to Madrid is very hard, especially these days when there's so little between the two teams.

So, when is the next episode of this soap opera - I am getting bored of all the "he stays...no he is going...he will stay...today was his last match" etc
If PSG are going to sign him, do it.
Of course, and we will have to follow those ties, someone has to pay for the new stadium, but in that case both clubs are equally guilty.Neymar is all about money. He doesn't love any club. Ronaldo actually cares for Madrid IMO, and he really sees Madrid as his dream club.
We did make shady deals with Qatar, but we got rid of it, and hopefully, we'll stay away from any ties with Qatar. Madrid's sponsors are also from the orient. You have Fly Emirates on your shirt to this day, don't you?

I have a friend that supports Barça, we always bother each other with everything that happens every day and he personally wants to get rid of Neymar. As he says, Ronaldinho left, Rivaldo left and the club was fine. No matter how much they pressure the South American market is still open for la liga and soon will appear another star. In fact the press say that Paulinho is better than Vinicius(not the Paulinho that plays in China).IMO, both Barca and Madrid, if they are to keep their structure and don't sell out, which would be embarrassing tbh, for an oil state or an oil company to own 100+ years of European sporting history and tradition, they will have to somehow make players choose between great money and the prestige of playing for such a team, and insane money but less everything else at an oil club.
At the moment, Madrid and Barca are still managing to propose the whole package for their star players (Messi and Ronaldo). But this might not last for long. There's a limit to how much you can increase your revenue with tickets, sponsors, tv deals, marketing and other normal ways of earning money as a normal club. At some point, it will hit a stop. That limit can be easily surpassed by the oil clubs in the absence of any rules regarding how much can a club spend in relation with their income.
I'm curious, if that limit is reached, how will Barcelona and Real Madrid cope with that.

We will have to sign players in their last year, very young players or get them to sign a clause with a certain amount to play in Madrid / Barça
