Having more experience should be working against Pochettino in this scenario, in my opinion. He's had longer to showcase he's not an elite manager, it's taken him until his 13th year of management to secure his first league title after being unable to close the gap in half a season in 20/21.

I don't think years in management matter that much. What does is the caliber of teams you manage and the results you get.

So far Poch has been doing a decent job, Problem is, doing a decent job at United right now isn't going to win any fans over. We need something extraordinary.

These stats end at 2018 and are slightly misleading as Poch's Spurs beat United at OT in the PL 3-0 with Kane and Lucas Moura running riot. Not sure how many more he got before getting sacked but it's at least two away wins.

Actually these stats are even less complete as it's a capture from Oct 2017 and doesn't include most games from the 17/18 season. A full breakdown of his time in the PL is needed.

If they had different or innovative ideas, we would have seen them by now. Or at the very least, they would have clashed with Woodward. No they didn’t do it on Ragnick’s say. Amad was already supposed to go on loan in the summer but got injured, so the move fell through. Martial and Donny already had their hearts set on a loan before Ragnick got there. Ragnick actually wanted to keep Martial but Anthony he had made it clear he wanted a change and more game time. So Ragnick had no choice (through no fault of his own).

Might be wrong but I think the main issues were that he agreed the deal in secret without informing the national team, and that he did it in the week leading up to the competition
