If Poch is to be the next manager i will get behind him. But we have to have a team where every player gives a 100 percent. Tonight Messi and Neymar were just walking around the place at times. We cannot have that. So a few players will hopefully go.

I will 100% get behind Poch if he becomes our next manager. He will easily also be the competant coach we’ll have had post SAF.

He isn’t perfect, but ETH would be a huge risk too. So would Enrique. Basically anybody not named Pep and Klopp will be a risk. I think Poch has every chance of being a great manager for us.

'Every manager not named Klopp and Pep will be a risk'

Might as well shut the club down at this point since we can't bother taking any risks...

Fortune favors the meek and safe obviously

It'll be interesting to see what happens, but I'll be very surprised if they give Pochettino the job. And I'm saying that because the club know the fans are disgruntled and the memories of the supporters breaking into Old Trafford will still be fresh. And they will also know the fans favourite is a certain Dutchman.

But how long will these 'fans' give him as with this group it is not going to happen overnight.
I am easy with these two or Potter as I know they all want to play entertaining football and that has to go hand in hand with being successful as far as I am concerned.

The board have been long time admirers of him, SAF rates him, the players supposedly want to work with him, less likely upheaval in terms of outgoings which would also affect incomings, where I think there will be few and far between, knows how to work within a budget and above all has PL experience ( ).
*sigh* It's going to happen.

He bottles 2-0 lead with a team of superstars and people think he can challenge city/pool with our lot? :D

ETH/someone else is no guarantee but Poch is a guarantee to not be good enough.

The fans are too easy to ignore and placate. What happened with the protests was the only serious thing that's happened really since the Glazer debt-fuelled takeover. Which says it all really.

They were comfortable until the goaly messed up. But then they imploded. Also Messi and Neymar were just walking around. You look at City against us and every player is at it.

I hope we convince ETH to come and pass on Poch. If he can't do it with that squad, he sure as shit won't do it with our lot.

Probably why he isn't the right man to gee up our sorry lot, then?

The fans will no doubt give him time and we just have to look back and see what's happened before to see that he'll get time.

They need to bring in a coach who has the capacity to play the game in the opponent's half imo. If they bring in one of Erik ten Hag, Potter or Enrique, then that would be the way forward imo. Because the aforementioned three have the ability to coach a strong zonal positional game and also adapt and coach a fast transition play style with heavy emphasis on playing through the lines by bypassing midfield in a vertical axis.

Poch would be fine as well but I think there's better coaches than him at implementing a broader spectrum of ideas when it comes to controlling the game, especially in possession.

“Team full of superstars” is such lazy hyperbole. Messi and Neymar basically do whatever they feel like and are a shell of their former selfs. M’Bappe already one foot out the door too. PSG’s squad is about level with Madrid’s, and behind Bayern, City and Liverpool.

The amount of melodrama here about Poch possibly becoming our manager is quite frankly, laughable. Yes, he's not won the CL, but neither did Tuchel (with PSG). He's still a good manager and would improve us. ETH isn't necessarily going to be any better, and I can see the headlines of "players had never heard of ETH before he signed" already.

If we get either of those two, we'll be in a good place.

Way to make a mountain out of a mole hill and take what I said completely out of context. Is that statement not true? Anybody besides those two is a risk. Poch is, ETH is, anybody else we get will be too. That’s all I said, where are you getting that I implied that we shouldn’t take a risk and “shut the club down”

Learn to read.

ETH 'bottled' a big lead versus Spurs in 2019. #bottle

Yes he did with a team of Dolberg, Ziyech, Tadic, DVB etc. Poch is doing it with Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Veratti etc.

There are still questions marks over ETH. There's no question marks over Poch though. He just isn't good enough.

Or perhaps it's impossible to motivate teams that are full of overpaid entitled wankers like United and PSG? Not everything can be controlled by a manager despite their best efforts

In other circumstances I wouldnt mind Poch. We should have hired him in 2018 instead of wasting 3 years on Ole, obviously.

But if we hire him now it'll be because he got sacked and it was easier. Our usual mmo for hiring. Dont go with the best, go with the easiest option. Spineless and brainless board that we have.

There's question marks over both of them. Poch beat ETH without Harry Kane, with a midfield of Wanyama and Sissoko and Lucas Moura up front.

That's just silly. I have my reservations, but let's not pretend he's Ole version 2.0

He's a personality free yes man which suits the Glazers, but they value their social media activity immensely as well so they will also surely see the bulk of United fans don't want him, I'm praying we don't get him, just another nothing appointment, we need to finally try a progressive manager.

One was playing Spurs, the other Real Madrid. Just for context.

Oh and let's not forget De Ligt, De Jong, Onana, Mazraoui, Tagliafico etc. Conveniently left out. They had a good team around that time, hence putting up a good fight against the big boys.

One was managing Ajax, the other PSG just for context.

I am quite aware of the players that were left out. Hence, I also left out Donnamura, Hakimi, Kimpembe, Marquinhos etc.

The exact same thing with Jose. We hired him 3 years too late. Same thing would occur with Poch.

The train has passed. He's past his expiration date.

Whatever way you spin it Poch got the better of ETH and reached a CL final. Think Levy the tight bastard gave Pochettino zero to spend that season too because they were building the new stadium? A very commendable achievement from the Argentine in the face of such adversity.

Sorry buddy,
I meant the 'fans' on here

Poch
Ten Hag
Klopp
Guardiola
Jesus

None of the above will get anything from the squad of donkeys we've assembled. The current lot needs to be gutted, the wage bill slashed and players brought in that are hungry for success and not to fatten their wallets. Our recruitment setup needs a huge kick up the arse.

Poch can't be blamed the ref gave Real Madrid a goal after a clear foul on Donnaruma. I still think Poch is a decent option, would prefer ETH but if SAF says Poch who are we to argue?
SAF also said Moyes and Ole, look how that turned out.

I want Ten Hag to be the next manager and there isn’t really a close second. not sure poch would be in my top 3. But PSG is a complete sh!tshow.

certain things can be put on poch for tonight’s loss but psg looked like united in the second half against city. A complete abomination

Even to the most biased viewer, the past few psg managers have been pretty successful after getting sacked and out of that clown show.

but dear god, please just take plunge and hire Ten Hag.
