Said it for ages (or this year at least), I would like Ruben Amorim at the club. Admittedly he is very young and not tested in the big leagues but something about him just feels ready
Poch beat Ten Hag thoughTen Hag 1 - 0 Pochettino
Poch beat Ten Hag though
I’m now uncompromising in my belief that until we employ a dominating style of play I’m not on board with any manager.Watching how Ajax plays, their off the ball work, their transitioning into attack their shape without the ball and with it it's an absolute no brainer for me to give Ten Hag a chance. Stay away from Poch. PSG's work without the ball is abyssmal.

Completely off topic here, but that night was such a great feel good moment for the clubHe's been dining on that for a few years thou. His Ole in Paris moment.
Out of curiosity with the current available pool of managers who would you chose?I’m now uncompromising in my belief that until we employ a dominating style of play I’m not on board with any manager.
Has to be Ten Hag out of the available options.Out of curiosity with the current available pool of managers who would you chose?
Poch would be a monumental mistake.
Honestly, it's mind-boggling people don't see this. In addition, Poch now give us a shout to challenge for the league next season. All these Ten Hag vs Poch comparisons
Think it helps if you have a team/structure that suits the managers system.
You really think Ten Hag will still be available in 2-3 years?Honestly, it's mind-boggling people don't see this. In addition, Poch now give us a shout to challenge for the league next season.
And if we are indeed building something football-wise at the club, Poch for 2-3 years gives us enough time to prep for Ten Hag.
Had to google more about Rangnick because of the posts above dismissing him. Thought I’d share this interesting NYTimes piece from 2020. It does read like Rangnick was indeed the main influencer of pressing high up the pitch in Germany, among other modern-day football norms:
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/08/sports/soccer/man-united-RB-leipzig-ralf-rangnick.html
My main concern on someone like him is whether he’s a has-been because the likes of Klopp have taken his vision to the next level, something that he acknowledges.. It could turn out to be a LVG all over again.

Ten Hag is not coming in the middle of the season. The time we'll waste and the short summer would make next season another top 4 challenge while Chelsea and City keep racking titles and cups (and god forbid, the scousers).Prep for what exactly? United are perfectly positioned to get him now/in the summer. Why would we want to risk waiting another 2-3 years when there’ll be an uncertainty of competition and suitors at that time? If anything what you just said proves Poch isn’t a long term solution for us.
And how is it that Poch gives us a shout at challenging for the title next szn but Ten Hag wouldn’t?
…doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me

He would be 100% at the end of the season if we gave him whatever demands he wanted, within reason. Guardiola unfortunately will be around for a few more years yet, because that’s our luck.Curious as to why you think he is available? He won't leave mid season and the fact he already knocked back Spurs and Barcelona this last off season suggests he is looking for a very specific job and with the current state we are in I highly doubt that is us. Personally I think he is nailed on to follow Pep at City either this summer or the next.

And if you think Ten Hag is going to be a guaranteed success, I have a bridge to sell you. No manager is guaranteed to succeed, so I'd give them 2-3 seasons and then get rid, Chelsea style.
Honestly, the biggest issue is the dimwits in charge. I don't trust them to get it right for the end of season (I think we can still do something this season).I think everyone is aware he’s not available this season so that’s not news. The next best thing would be to be a tad patient to reap the rewards in the long haul by going for an interim manager (Rangnick). Or even Valverde. What’s to say they can’t push for top4 this year but Poch would? …well who really cares because as far as we know, Poch is staying put at the moment with Zidane not taking the PSG job so I’m not bothered

Hasnt Ten Hag already stated he doesnt want to come and wants to stay at Ajax for years? He wouldnt need to go that far saying that if he was going to leave. Im commited to Ajax would have done if he was thinking of leaving.
I don't think he said that about us (the not wanting to leave for years). I can't remember thoughHasnt Ten Hag already stated he doesnt want to come and wants to stay at Ajax for years? I desperately wanted Ten Hag then looked at how Ajax is set up an the way we are set up.
Edwin as a DoF
Are we going to facilitate that?
I would love to see it but highly doubt it will happen.
Even City brought Txiki in for Pep in 2012.
They had a vision of what type of players Pep wanted, the style of play he plays and integrated this throughout the club.
That's why they have a conveyer belt of players playing the way they do.
City unfortunately play the way Ten Hag can easily work with.
He comes here an he needs a whole structural change.
Wish the board would do it but unfortunately can't see it.

Yes the timing doesn’t work for United unfortunately.Tbf most sensible people know Enrique has a World Cup and is never leaving.
You're correct!How so?
Overmars is Dof BTW, Edwin is the CEO.
No, he said he wants to see out the season and then who knows . He crushed the speculation of him leaving midseason though.Hasnt Ten Hag already stated he doesnt want to come and wants to stay at Ajax for years? Mate, VDS is CEO aking to Woodward. Overmars is their DoF.My main concern is the way our club is set up.

United's football structure is geared up for any head coach right now IMO. But it could be particularly helpful to ten Hag because our head of recruitment (Marcel Bout) and head of European scouting (Henny de Regt) are both Dutch and both understand the requirements for ten Hag's blue print to come to fruition.
You're correct!
My mistake.
Just think we're not going to have a whole back room shake up for Ten Hag.
Why I think Poch will be favourite.

No more rainbows, no more enjoy yourselves, no more holistic approaches. This is how I want the next United manager to sound like:
Absolutely this. Just looking at his mentality and his coaching ability and all signs point that he's the next top prospect when it comes to managers. If we're guaranteed Ten Hag at the end of the season, honestly it'd be worth it to wai. Can't allow anymore half-measures.
