@The Stain A suggestion. Rather than having the usual 3 rounds per turn, cut it down to two. Get a Sheep in R1, you just have one more turn to get it right. Far quicker and potentially lot more sheep
i'll keep that in mind.
3 rounds also mean more players blocked, which is also a good thing in the long run.
2 rounds could be frustrating because it could lead to 4/5 sheeps per team.

Yeah, take it - I'm not disinterested but I lack certain enthusiasm at the moment, especially towards the games themselves

The pace of this draft is so slow.

Oh... missed it, I thought you guys were going for those ultra complicated drafts.
Just a thought. If more guys want to play it would be possible if instead of normal matches you just get a voting card to determine the winner. Basically send in your top 5 and i'll count it up. Quick, easy and you can move on to the next draft quickly.

I'd propose to have all R1 matches in a single thread. Just 8 posts with teamsheets only. No discussions, no debates. People can just vote in a standard Format

I like that idea. Some sort of interaction/match up while keeping it simple and new.
Was going to suggest that. One thread for all R1 games.
With 32 managers it would be 16 games of course. Could repeat the concept until the semi's. Standard format as in just sending all your winners to us?
I doubt you'd get 32 managers. You'll get stuck around early 20s max imo. Keep it to 16.
Voters will use the standard format (something like the one I posted above, draft mod can refine and finalize) to post in the thread. You can total up after maybe 12 hrs (instead of 24) and announce all R1 results in one go.

A sheep draft would be an absolute mare with 32 managers. You'd be lucky to squeak Djemba Djemba through at that rate, let alone a great.
I can easily see us going to 32 if all of the AM's/scouts actually become managers.the simple first few rounds with just straight matchups should also help bring in newer faces.

I don't mind expanding the number of managers to 32 but I don't think a sheep draft would be the ideal format to implement it but am open to anything.

Let's just cut it off at 20 teams. Me and Antohan will remove the worst teams for R1 or if you prefer we'll do byes.

It'd not be fair to the teams if it's just based on your or anto's vote. If you allow them to draft, you need to permit them a match.

For the round 1, if we have 24 managers, we can imagine 8 games: 3 teams per game and a poll to select the worst team
